Catch 22

Sitting around my living room I sigh as my girls try to hassle me into going out this weekend " It's one night khar, Dang. That man got you shacked up like y'all got kids. " I laugh at Marley. "Just cause you and your dude got issues, don't mean I'm just gone let you take me from mine." She rolls her eyes looking at Elease.

"Tellis' 'Chantay's got a man' head ass girl to come turn the fuck up with her girls." I shake my head as Shay pipes in. "Honestly though Kharys . This is our last weekend together as Sophomores. You're going back to Nolensville with J. Can we just have one last girls night?" I sigh ready to give in. "You do know I'm only going to  Nolensville for two weeks and then we'll all be right back together."

"Hey y'all!" Asia says walking in with Chris trailing behind her. "If Asia goes I'll go!" Everyone in the room groans and I laugh feeling satisfied.

"Go where?" She asks. "That's not even fair Kharys. The only one who goes out less than you is Asia."

" you can't be mad cause I like my nigga, Mars." I bust out laughing. "That's the same thing I said!" "Ok, forget both of y'all hoes. It's our last weekend together and Y'all wack ass hoes trying to be up under some wack ass niggas. No offense Chris." Chris just shrugs and goes back to the game on his phone. "Marlaysia it's two weeks."

"You know what... I'll go. Chris is coming though." Asia says." Then I get to -- "hell NAH! We trying to have a GIRLS weekend! Neither of them can come! I'm not inviting Darnell." We all look around and everyone is laughing.

"Y'all some fake ass hoes and I don't see what's so funny." "No, Sis. I'm sorry, it's just that nobody knew y'all was back together." She rolls her eyes and throws herself into her seat. "If y'all really want me to... I'll come this weekend." I say finally giving in.

*That Weekend*

I slicked my edges before running my hair through my braids. I smile to myself putting on a thin leather jacket. It would probably stay in the car but I knew outside it was chilly. Pulling up to the club we can see a line around the block but luckily Chris knew one of the bouncers and called ahead for us. We walked in and Hip Hopper was playing. From the door I can already see some people I know. We give hugs to some people and make our way up towards the bar. "Macio! Wassup." I say hugging one of the upperclassmen I Know. He flips a couple of my braids and smiled to my friends. "Y'all look good." We thank him and get to the real reason I stopped him.

"What we gotta do to get some liquor?" He laughed, and looked me up and down. "Stay right here." I shake my head. "Nah, I'll come with you." Say what you want but I don't trust NOBODY with my drinks. The two of us walk to the bar and he pays for our drinks and we take them to the girls. Elease, Shay, and I go off to the floor as Bedroom Boom begins to play. Since the first time we heard the song we vibed to it and the rest was history. After a while the Dj decided to slow it down. The slow mellow beat to Remind Her by Eric Bellinger begins to play and between that and the liquor I find myself really feeling the song. I look up and from across the room I can see someone peering at me. His chocolate brown eyes reading my every move even through the sea of people between us.
Before I know it I'm standing up and meeting him in the middle of the floor. His arms went around my waist as one of mine trails his chest and up around his neck. I can't feel the stares I know I'm receiving from my friends right now. All I can think about it the electric pulses I feel every time he pulls me in closer to his warmth, and just like that the song was over. We look at each other and before I can speak we're separated by a crowd of people hype to "Preach" by Young Dolph. My heart beats in ears and I can tell it's not the only thing throbbing right now.

"And just what the hell was that!" I turn around to see Shay, Tarryn, and the rest of the group staring at me.

"I was dancing." Asia looks at me. "Nah Khare we been dancing you went out there dry humping that nigga. Who was that?"

"I don't know and I ain't thinking about that man. It was just a dance." I say half lying. At this moment he was all I was thinking about. I scan the room but I don't see him anywhere.

Out of no where shots ring out and everyone runs trying to get out. All my friends and I try to get out the front door when I feel someone pull me to the side. "Come out this way." I grab my girls and we follow behind him. I finally look up and notice it was the guy I danced with.

"Thank You." I say as we walk out the back entrance. " Get out of here safe Princess. Y'all enjoy your night." He says closing the door.

"Wait!" I say but before he can respond Shay pulls me off to the car and Marley pulls off.

I stumble into my apartment after having a few more drinks with the girls and pull my heels off. I walk into the bathroom and run a hot bubble bath. "Kharys it's 4 O'clock in the morning why are you running a bath." "Cause... I um. I don't know but I really want  Take a bubble bath."

"Well can Daddy come join you?" Usually I would jump at the chance for a bath for two, but tonight it just doesn't sound as appealing as usual. "No baby, not tonight I really just want to relax." My buzz coming down at just the thought of his face. I get in the tub slowly the hot water tingles every pore on my body and all I can think about is feeling his touch "All These Kisses" begins to play through my Bluetooth speaker. I rub my hands up and down the length of my sides and eventually I hear a soft moan escape my lips and realize I've been pleasuring myself to the fantasies I've created in my mind in just this short amount of time. I sit up and quickly get out of the tub grabbing my towel and sit on the toilet trying to gather my thoughts.
