-Hesitant alien era fluff-

"Can I please have Captain Crunch? Oh wait, no, pancakes." Bandit begged as you scrubbed the grime off of a plate using a flimsy rag.

"Of course sweetie." You smiled and ruffled her light chestnut brown hair.

"Dad makes the best pancakes." Bandit noted while grabbing a small stool and climbing up on it so she could be level with the granite counter.

"Oh does he now?" You smiled to myself as you began to prepare her breakfast of choice.

"Mornin' ladies." You turned at the sound of Gerard's groggy morning voice. He walked in the kitchen with solid blue wool socks on, black satin pajama bottoms, a faded Batman shirt on and his orange hair sticking up. You blushed when you realized you were staring so you quickly looked away to hide it, adjusting your white apron.

"Good morning Mr. Way." You tucked a strand of (Y/H/C) hair behind your ear, suddenly feeling self conscious.

"(Y/N), I told you to call me Gerard, just because you're our maid doesn't mean you have to be so formal." Gerard smiled, sitting down at the small white table.

He laid his head on the table, yawning. You were tempted to fangirl just because he looked so adorable but you couldn't do that, you needed this job.

"Daddy! Good morning!" Bandit jumped off the stool making you a little nervous, fearing she might hurt herself. She ran to Gerard like she hasn't seen him in weeks and jumped up in his lap. Gerard kisses the top of Bandit's head

"I see (Y/N) is making you pancakes, you still like my cooking better right?" Gerard shot you a playful look and then gave Bandit a mock pout, sticking his bottom lip out.

"I like your cooking equally." Bandit smiled.

You couldn't help but admire how adorable Gerard was as a dad. The way he always had time for Bandit. You had seen this relationship since you got this job two years ago, since then they had both grown on you and you had quite a bond with little Bandit. Gerard had just finished up touring for Hesitant Alien and yes you had missed him and yes you had a small crush on him, I mean who wouldn't?

Bandit hopped off his lap and sat down at one of the tables as you slid a pancake onto her plate. You handed her the bottle of syrup, she then poured a bunch of syrup over the pancake, soaking it.

"You think you have enough syrup B?" You joked. "Gerard, do you want any pancakes?" You inquired tilting your head. He ran a hand through his wavey light orange hair

"No thanks, but I need your opinion on something." Gerard stood up, motioning for you to follow him to his office. You stepped inside the medium sized room and watched Gerard rush over to his desk and muddle through the drawers. He finally pulled out a piece of paper with a impressive sketch on it. "What do you think, I'm putting it in the next issue of my comic." Gerard looked down at his hands, messing with them nervously.

"It's amazing, I'm impressed, but you're an amazing guy overall." You accidentally added the last part, causing a blush to creep up your neck. Gerard suddenly turned serious.

"This wasn't exactly why I called you down here..." He trailed off as he leaned towards your face, his lips softly meeting yours. You stood in shock as his lips continued to stay connected with yours, slowly you kissed back, beginning to tangle your fingers in his short hair. He pulled back with a huge grin.

"You want to go out sometime?" He looked at you with hopeful hazel eyes.

"I would love that."
