The case of Money Mocera

They called him Money Mocera. You never wanted to be near him because if he got close, you would find your pockets being a bit lighter than before. Money Mocera wore a dark green invisibility cloak and was the perfect mercenary. He was hired by rich trolls and wizards who were too lazy as well as dense to not know how to get their stuff back. Normally, Money Mocera gave them only a portion of their stuff back and kept the rest for himself and the people were dumb enough to accept it. He traveled all across the wizarding world scamming those he met. He grew rich by working just as hard to take money from those who worked to earn it. He would never resort to as much violence as a tap on the shoulder for surprise. He used illusions and deceptions to his advantage. Sleight of hand played a key role but he was a master of distraction. When assigned to someone, he studied them for days before making a move to figure out what would distract them best for the best opportunity to rob them. When distracted, he could pass whomever he needed with his cloak so that he took what he wanted with ease. But over time, he became reckless and offered his services to anyone willing to pay. Not to mention, he was starting to create a worldwide pattern since he was running out of places to hide. The magical authorities took this knowledge and used it to derive a plan to catch him. It was to send a wizard official in the street to hire Money Mocera and lead him to a trap where there was a person who supposedly 'owed' him money. Money Mocera accepted the quest blindly and was lead directly to the trap where he found himself surrounded by a handful of individuals from the Ministry of Magic. From this, Money Mocera raised his hands, kicked his wand over, declared he was unarmed, and allowed others to restrain him. From then, he was sent to Wizengamot, a high court of law in the wizarding world, and given a proper case with a jury to decide his verdict.

Money Mocera: Mmmhhhhmm

Ministry official: Shut it

Money Mocera: MMMHHHHMM

Ministry official: I said SHUT IT

Money Mocera: MMMHHFFMMHHFF

Money Mocera: Thank you for that. I would also appreciate if you thanked me for taking some weight off your pockets, good sir

Ministry official: There ain't no way a fool like ya'self gon' be lootin' me in them cuffs so for the last time shut it. Besides, we at the door already, you gonna git what you deserve

The both of them enter the court. There a lot of spectators, most of them being previous employers of Money Mocera. The Chief Warlock still hadn't arrived so there are a lot of whispers while they wait.

Money Mocera: This seems like a good place to sit

Ministry official: That's the spectator's seats ere'. Best you git out fore' I kick you out

Money Mocera: Looks more comfy than that chair

Ministry official: Well, that chair's posed' to be for you

Money Mocera: You gotta be kidding me. That's the chair in the corner where the headmaster would've put you

Ministry official: Just sit down, Chief's bout' to be here soon

Money Mocera seated himself in the chair only to find that it wrapped him in chains and raised him to be standing. There, a cage coated with spikes appeared to trap him as if the chains were not enough. Shortly after, the main doors opened and in walks the Barnabas Deverill the Chief Warlock with the signature black robe. All people in the room rise as he walks down the aisle to reach his seat.

Chief Warlock: You may all be seated. In this case, there is an accusation against Michael 'Unacceptable' Mocera for thievery; looting, trespassing private property, pickpocketing, and robbing the witches and wizards of the world of their hard earned valuables. Mr. Mocera, from all these accusations, do you claim any of them false

Money Mocera: Actually, I thought there would've been more, but no I don't claim any of them false

Chief Warlock: From this, Mr. Mocera, how do you plead

Money Mocera: I plead guilty Chief

Chief Warlock: Very well then. The Prosecution may call its first witness

Zacharias Zabini humbly stands and looks rather nervous.

Chief Warlock: Mr. Zabini, you accuse Mr. Mocera of breaking in your home and looting precisely 17 galleons, is that correct?

Zacharias: Yes, that would b-b-be correct, Ch-ch-chief

Chief Warlock: And Mr. Mocera, do you confirm that you took 17 galleons from this man

Money Mocera: Yes I do, Chief

Chief Warlock: Mr. Zabini, would you kindly explain your story in depth as you remember it for all of us here in this court?

Zacharias: With great p-p-pleasure, Chief

After the Zacharias gives his story, the case is temporarily halted so that the court has time to take in all that has been provided. When the court resumes, another witness comes to the stand and the cycle repeats for quite sometime.

Chief Warlock: Thank you for providing us with your *yawn* story, Ms. Smith. The case shall now we halted for one hour so that the jury can absorb this new information and determine the verdict of Mr. Mocera. Until then, case postponed

The Chief, spectators and Money Mocera were all leaded out the room so that the jury would have their privacy as well as not leak the information. After the hour was passed, the rest of the court joined the jury where they sat eagerly waiting to state their verdict with tired looks. Mr. Mocera was put back to the center of the room and the case proceeded.

Chief Warlock: Jury of this court, I trust that you have been able to come up with a verdict for Mr. Mocera

Elphias Doge: Chief, the jury of this court find the defendant guilty. Among this, we say that he be sent to Azkaban for two years and be denied his wand during his sentence as well as 4 months after he is permitted to leave. He is also not entitled to any visitors during his sentence. That is what he have decided, Chief

Chief Warlock: So that is the verdict then. I expect Mr. Mocera to be taken to Azkaban first thing tomorrow. The Ministry of Magic thanks you, jury, for a job well done. This court is adjourned
