We started talking more about happier topics. She started to give extremely sarcastic answers which I'm guessing was a coping mechanism.
That was until I asked her about her favorite song.
"Uh, That's Why they Make Jack Daniels." She took a deep breath before going on. "By Ronnie Dunn. I was in a really serious relationship until about a year ago. So I've used my fair share of whiskey to dull the pain of seeing my best friends get married or them getting taken home by attractive guys."
