~~~Daily Verse~~~

Habakkuk 3:17-19‬ ‭‬ ‭(ESV‬‬)

"Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer's; he makes me tread on my high places."

~~~My Thoughts~~~

I love that this verse talks about being in low places physically, but continuing to rejoice in the Lord. We can so easily get caught up in the struggles we face that we forget that we have the opportunity to worship God and draw near to Him. And then in verse 19 it describes the Lord leading us to high places, but I believe it's referring to spiritual height. Even when we are low physically, God can take us high spiritually. So draw near to Him and let Him lead you to heights you never imagined.
