The Unknown Land

Chapter One: A Notice.

Author's Note:
Ahem, before we begin this journey.. I will like to welcome you to my new story! I decided to create something that will possibly only have 5 chapters? But I am not quite sure yet. I am not positive if I mentioned it already, but I do enjoy like writing short stories. So, this will possibly be my first! This took me a couple days to think because I didn't have any motivation, but luckily inspiration slapped me across the face and gave me something to write. And that's where, I got this idea! Anyways, enough of this talk, and let's get to the story! :P

It was evening. A lovely evening, possibly even lovelier than any other evening.

The sky was an ombré of purple and blue, causing a vibrant view.

Periwinkle sighed in a happy matter, starring at the view and enjoying how gorgeous the day was and how close the day was to an end. It's been stressful frequently.

As she thought she was done looking outside, somepony, or dragon tapped her paw, she jumped a bit and turned around seeing her raised dragon, Valerie firmly smiling at her.

"Hey, Peri. You feeling any better?" Valerie asks, still quite concerned about her owner.

"Mm, I suppose. I feel a lot better than earlier." Periwinkle responds.

"That's.. good! I'm glad. But! Just incase, do you want anymore honey tea? It's good for headaches, it's relaxing! Sparkle even said..-" Valerie says, fidgeting her claws together, but getting stopped by Periwinkle.

"Val, I am okay. I don't need anymore of the honey tea, as much it was delightful, but.. I am fine. It's just a headache, it will go away as soon as I lay down and rest. I'm sure that's what my brain was assisting." Periwinkle says assuring her. Then, patting Val's head.

Valerie let's out a sigh and nods. "Alright. If you say so, just.. let me know when you do want to have more of it, alright? I can even ask Sparkle to make more if I have to." She says.

"No need for that, silly. I'm sure this is enough for tonight and for breakfast too. Besides, if you are cold, you can drink some of it in the middle of the night." Periwinkle says, starting to walk upstairs.

"Huh?! No, no, no.. NO! I'm never cold.. I am a STRONG dragon! I have all the warmth I need." Valerie says, crossing her arms, dimming her green eyes at the pony.

"Hehe, mhmm.. I guess you're right. I'm going to hit the hay, alright?" Periwinkle says, chuckling.

"Okay! Goodnight, Peri." Valerie says, waving.

"Goodnight, Val." Periwinkle smiled, waving back.

Periwinkle sighed once more, as she went upstairs, and walking over to her bed. She opened the sheets, and went inside her bed, she flipped the sheets back so it was giving her warmth. She shut her blue eyes, as she began to be in dreamland.

Meanwhile, with Valerie.. she 'secretly' decided to pour herself a few cups of honey tea and drank them, because she will admit, that she was a bit cold.

"No pony saw that right?!" Valerie thought in her head, glancing around the room.

"Nope." She grinned mischievously and went upstairs to fall asleep as well.
