"Mom?" Lia called out as she woke up on a sunny flower field with all sorts of flowers, even some she had never seen before. The little girl sat up quickly and looked around but the field didn't seem to end anywhere. "What was it? What did I want to say to my mom? Oh well, she always used to tell me that if I were to forget something, it couldn't have been anything important." She told herself. Lia slowly stood up, feeling a little dizzy. She flinched at the sound of tiny footsteps that went pat, pat, pat in her direction. But curious as she was she tracked down the footsteps to find a big, floofy grey cat with beautiful green eyes laying down on a sunny rock. //It looks just like my cat, Minou.// she thought as the cat turned to face her. "Oh, what do we have here? Company...a rare sight. And such a young one." The cat said. "You can talk?" Lia stated. "Nothing out of the unusual. I mean, you talk as well." The cat responded. //It really isn't my cat after all. What was its name again?// Lia thought. She lied down beside the cat. "Do you like it here?" The cat asked. "Hm? I just came here. I don't know..." Lia frowned. "You don't have to answer right away. Let me show you around." The cat offered and received a nod from the little girl. As the two of them walked around the girl got lost in her thoughts. "I feel like I'm forgetting something or someone?" She said out loud. "You don't have to worry about it. It surely isn't anything important." The cat told her. "I guess so..." Lia answered. //Who always used to tell me this...?//
The farther they walked, the more the girl saw from this place. There wasn't just a flower field, it ended eventually. After that came a jungle-like forest and mountains as well as small hills. She saw all kinds of peculiar places as well as animals. However the cat led her back to the flower field they had come from. After showing her around it asked once more. "Do you like it here? Do you want to stay?" The girl thought hard. It was a tough question for her, although she didn't know why. At the sunny rock, at which they had met earlier, they lay down. Lia was still thinking about that question. //Do I want to stay here? Wait...who wants to stay? Me...but *who* am I?// the girl asked herself but forgot soon after. She could only think of that question. "I like it here. I want to stay..." She told the cat. As it heard her answer, it's ears twitched and it looked at her with gleaming green eyes until the girl fell asleep, the sun warming her gently.
