I quickly walked down the Webspinner Alley and pulled the hood of my cloak even lower. No, this time I won't be the centre of attention, I recalled last time when I was at the bookstore and one of the reporters of The Daily Griffin noticed me and asked me to give a review about the book I was about to buy Dangerous Spells for Witches . Really that time I got really irritated I mean he can also ask someone else why me. Like my friend Calista says " You can even cross the road without being on the first page of The Daily Griffin". Anyway I reached the busstation and winced at the timetable. It was snowing furiously and each snowflake felt like a tiny needle pricking my hands and face. I stared down at my boots who were barely visible in the deep snow and my cloak was probably soaked which my friend Cornelia would fuss about if I entered her potions lab with a soggy cloak and wet boots. The 109 bus came heading for Coalberry Manor where I lived with my aunt, friends Calista and Cornelia and younger siblings . By the time you know already I'm a orphan. My parents were killed by the evil ruler of Foul Cliffed Cave, Bartholomew Latimer aka Lord Everfire . Two years ago my parents had captured him and were about to seal him in the Island of Punishment but right then Lord Everfire somehow broke out of the chains and turned into his true form-a dragon and destroyed the whole island with his jealous green poison fire. Before I was about to be burned to crisp, my aunt swooped down and caught me. I screamed and shouted to go back and save my parents but aunt said that it was over. I still could remember her face, it turned grey due to the smoke and ashes that were blasting out of the island, her eyes were watery, gloomy, sorrowfull, greif-stricken and terrifyed.
" Last stop Coalberry Manor", announced the bus driver. I got of and checked my clock ten past eight. " Oh no , Aunt Analisa is going to kill me. I'm exactly 20 minutes late" I said to my self and started running toward the stoney steps that lead to the manor. It was foggy but lucklly the snow stopped and it was nearly pitch black but the dim light of the street lamp was helping. Finally I reached the door and rang the bell. Suddenly the door blasted open and a screechy voice said "Come in"
