"Audrey!" My aunt called when she saw me in the airport. I was forced by my parents to go to Ewedown to help my aunt run her pub.
"Hey Aunt Zoe." I responded as enthusiastic as a wet cat.
"How are ya kid? Haven't seen ya since you were just a little girl." She was acting like she actually cared how I was. That's the thing, no one ACTUALLY cared they only ask to be polite.
"I'm good, how are you?" Why am I being forced to go to a town full of farmers who are no ones outside of here? I thought.
The conversation was short and simple. She asked the usual questions like "how is my little sister doin?" Or "how's school?" All of a sudden she pulls into a dirt and rocky parking lot.
"Well this is it. It's not much, but it puts food on the table." She said with a sigh.
"When do I start?" I asked sort of excited to finally have a decent job.
"Now if you'd like." Well I guess it's time for this long summer to begin
