Taehyung looked out the window, the stop was finally coming up. He had been on this train for hours. He still couldn't believe he got into art school in Seoul. It was like some crazy dream from which he did not want to wake up. It was snowing out so he had his scarf wrapped around twice just to be safe. He got sick very easily and his Eomma was already worried enough about him moving to Seoul all alone. I mean he was only 18 years. But he had been the best kid all his life and she trusted him very much, he just had to call every week.
As soon as the train got to the stop, Tae retrieved his bags from the storage area above the seat and scrambled off the train as if something was following him. He couldn't wait to get out into the new environment. He wanted to breathe in the winter air of Seoul. It's not like it was extremely different from Daegu but new environments always interested the young boy, since he was always moving to new places.
As he step onto the platform wearing his supreme backpack he begged his parents for and his black suitcase in his right hand, he set out to go hail a cab. He needed to get to his new apartment by 5 to meet the electricity guy. "Wow I'm already feeling like and adult" he thought to himself. He was excited but also extremely nervous. He started his journey enjoying the light snow fall on the way. As he was walking he caught a glimpse of a kid with two hoop earrings in his right ear and one in his left. "Waaaa 예쁜" he slightly said out loud not realizing it. The boy must have heard because he turned a bit in Tae's direction revealing big brown almost doll like eyes framed by such soft looking bangs. He sparkled so much under the snow fall, more beautiful than all of it combined. If Tae's face wasn't already red from the cold, he would be so flushed right now. He quickly turned away and continued his journey. "I hope he didn't see me" 예쁜he thought "that would be so akward. The kid looks like he is in highschool." He finally got to the street and was able to hail a cab after two attempts. "Here's where I would like to go please." Tae asked the driver with his signature boxy smile as he pointed to a circled area on his personal map. "Ah yes this is a very nice place. Lots of sweet elderly people there." the driver told Tae. "Are you new to Seoul?" the driver asked remembering Taehyung's suitcase. "Yes sir, I'm new here. I'll be starting art school in a few weeks. I'm not the best artist, but I hope to learn a lot!" Tae said humbly. " Oh how exciting! What school if I may ask?" the driver asked not wanting infer on Tae's personal life. " Oh it's the Seoul Institue of the Arts" Tae informed. "Really?! That's amazing! One of the top schools in Seoul! You should be very proud of yourself young man" the driver said. Tae simply bowed insisting that he wasn't that great, just a regular nobody.
After twenty minutes of conversing and hitting many red lights Tae finally arrived at his destination. He grabbed his things, payed the driver and bowed until the driver was on his way. "Waa amazing" he said aloud. The small courtyard had a big tree in it. It was bare of flowers, maybe two or three at most on there since it was still the cold season. He went and found his apartment. It was a small flat having a tiny kitchen area, a closet and a bathroom. There was a cute little balcony. A nice extra to have since Tae enjoyed drawing under the stars. The electricity guy arrived around 5:15. He got everything set up and was on his way. Tae begin setting up his things, he wanted to have things in order before getting lazy and probably falling asleep. He put all his face washes and skin care in the bathroom. He set up the futon( his eomma had all the big furniture like futon, bookshelf, etc sent to the apartment prior to his arrival. She loved her baby awww) next to the window. He put his laptop on his desk and started placing his 80000 copies of manga on the bookshelf. It was nearly 8 when he finished ( or at least what he felt like doing for the day). Unpacking your life is from boxes was hard work and he was starving. "Chickennnn" he thought to himself, drool wanting to escape from his mouth. He could've swore he saw a chicken place on the way he in the cab. It seemed close too, maybe a block away. His stumbled started rumbling. Chicken it was.
He put on his beanie and scarf, some black joggers, his "love is love" shirt, his thick supreme cardigan (also took some begging) and some high tops vans . He stepped outside locking the door behind him, his Harry Potter key chain making more noise than it should. He started his walk, super giddy and excited cause let's be honest food is life. As he was approaching the stair way, he lived on the second floor, someone was exiting their apartment. "Hmm should I make a new friend?" Tae thought to himself. Before he could answer his own question, the boy turned enough for Tae to see those hoop earring and that beautiful brown hair. "It's the boy from the snow"
