Hey Wenches, I know I've been keeping a lot of you hanging lately with taking unfinished stories down and not giving regular updates on where I am. So, this is me checking in and letting you all know where I am today and what I've been up to.
Most of you know, I took my stories down from Wattpad because I was interested in publishing them. Since then, a lot has happened. It's been a very exciting few months and my feet have barely touched the floor.
Updates on stories.
Tallulah Falls. Which started out on Wattpad, and honestly, it didn't really spend much time on here before I took it down because I wanted to publish it. It's been accepted, and I've just completed a content edit. I'll hear back shortly if I've managed to fill in all those pesky plot holes we all know manage to creep up on us, and I can move onto the next stage of this journey.
New for September. I can't give you book names or book details at this moment because I want it to be a surprise closer to the time, but I can say it's something different. I've put this particular new story forward and will hopefully be in a RH anthology which will come out in September 2017.
New For December. Fingers crossed, I'll have a new story put into an anthology which comes out in December 2017. The Anthology is a bunch of short stories, and I'm looking forward to having this small story be a part of it. This one will also be a carry-on from the September story, and I'm super excited to see how its received by everyone.
And finally, if you're still reading at this point, then congratulations. I know I can rabbit on sometimes and I'm likely boring you to death, but I wanted to save the best til last.
The Four Knights. Where my whole writing journey started. I started this story September 2015, after numerous people (mentioning no names, you know who you are) pestered, nagged and got me writing a 300 word first chapter. (I looked back on that first chapter, and oh my god, I cringed), but for some reason, you all loved it. Yes, it started out as Fan-fiction, but I got carried away with myself and a story which started out of proving how bad a writer I was, proved just the opposite. I know I disappointed a few people by taking it down off here uncompleted, but I wanted to give the story and characters the true story they deserved. After huge amounts of rewrites and editing, I finally bit the bullet and filled out a submission for it and offered it up to a publishing house. The Four Knights got accepted. Unfortunately, I can't give you specific dates on when this story will be published, all I can say is hopefully soon. I have every intention in getting this story published, and it will, but when, I can't say. Don't get the pitchforks and hunt me down. I'm not about to leave you all hanging a ridiculous amount of time, I promise.
