First Impressions

"NEDDY!! GET YOUR ARSE DOWN HERE!!" Neddy opened her blue and grey stormy eyes groggily and got up.
"Okay, okay. Just gimme a minute!" Neddy
This was Neddy's fourth year of Hogwarts. She was best friends with Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and Harry Potter. The boy who lived. Yes they are two years younger than her but she is still friends with them. Neddy still remembers how they met.

I was sitting in my compartment.
"Hello."
I looked up to see a boy with dark brown shaggy hair and emerald green eyes.
"Hello. Who are you?" I asked
"I'm Harry Potter." He answered back
"Okay.Well I'm Neddy." I smiled at him.
"I'm Harry Potter." He said and smiled at me.
"Have a seat Harry." I looked at him and gestured to the seat opposite me. He sat down "Thanks."
"That's okay. What year are you in Harry?" I asked
"Year 1." He answered
"Oh well I'm in year-"

"Can I sit here?" I looked at a boy with bright orange hair and dark brown eyes.

"Sure." I smiled at him
He sat down next to Harry.
"The names Ron. Ron Weasley."
"Neddy?" Harry asked me "what year are you in?"
"Year 3." I answered politely
"That's the year my older brothers are in." Ron said
"Who are they?" I asked with curiosity
"Fred and George. Y'know, the twins."
I smiled at him. "I don't know them but if I ever get a chance to meet them I'll say hi."
"Do you guys want to see me do a spell?" Ron asked "Fred and George taught me."
I smiled at him "Why not? Have a go Ron."
Ron pulled out his wand when the door opened again
"Have any of you seen a toad? A boy called Neville's lost one. Oh!" She looked at Ron "Are you about to magic? Let me see then." The girl with bushy hair took a seat next to me. Her brown bushy hair bobbed as she sat down.
"Go on." She waved at Ron
"Ok then. Sunshine, daisies, flowers mellow. Turn this fat stupid rat yellow!" Ron exclaimed as he tapped his wand against his rat.
"Well." Hermione started "that's not a very good spell." She stated. "I however have been studying up an learned a few spells. For example." She pointed her wand at Harry's face "Occulous Reparo." She waved it and the glasses fit themselves back together and the cracks went away.
"Well. If you do see a toad let me know." Hermione said as she stood up and walked towards the door but just as she stepped out she turned around and looked at us "also you should probably get your robes on." And with that she was gone.
"Well. She's right guys." I said. "How about I go to the change rooms and you guys change here?" They nodded at me "ok then." I picked up my robes and walked to the change rooms. I walked in changed and stepped out.

Neddy changed into some skinny jeans and a Rolling Stones t-shirt then she chucked on some robes over the top and headed downstairs. She sat at the table with her pancakes on it and gobbled them down.
"Hungry are we?"
Neddy looked at her mother and frowned.
"And do you have a problem with that?" I asked back
"Mayyyyybe." She looked at me. Then we both burst into giggles and I fell off my chair.
"OW!" I rubbed my but while still giggling then I finally stopped.
"Okay mum can we go now? We're going to miss the train."
She pouted at me. "But we were having so much fun together."
"I know, I know. I'll miss you mum. But we have to go!" I stood up and kissed my mum on the cheek then ran upstairs to grab my trunk.

When we get to the train station its empty. Except for a bunch of redheads. "EXCUSE ME!" I call out to them.
They all turn around.
"Ron!" I tell then I drop my trunk and run over to him and pull him into a bear hug. He blushes slightly.
"How are you?"
"Good thanks." He smiles at me.
I look over to my mum. I run over to her. "I have to go now." I kiss her on the cheek and hug her. "But I will owl you."
I walk over to Ron and wave at my mum. "Shall we get in the train now?" I ask
"Umm...yeah. Let's."
So we hop on the train to Hogwarts.
