I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Is a line they should put in a song
But just looking at you it's visible
There is just something about you so wrong
Your constant lack of interest
Your disheveled appearance always
The gun belt you wear on your hip now
And they say that crime never pays
Well you have more money than anyone
Not afraid to splash it about
But your mean and so impersonal
You just come across as a lout
You ride into town when you need to
Take over the saloon with your men
Unwashed , unshaven looking awful
Haven't had manners since way back when
Yet something about you is so appealing
In those eyes that watch me so
A hotel room, a bath it's amazing
How the outlaw just seems to go
You are mine for such a short time
What we do remains behind that closed door
As our short time is soon over
Your off for another big score
I never know if you'll be returning
My life is to just wait and see
As the girl who watches from the window
Wondering if you'll live and come back to me
