Cubed Chapter 17: Start Walking Again...

Start from the beginning

"Do we stop here?" Sag asks and I really wasn't feeling too good.

"I don't know, we can ask the voice," Virgo says and I can't hold it back any longer. I felt the world go blurry and put all my weight on Sag and Virgo. They felt me fall and lowered me to the ground.

"Leo! Leo! Are you ok?" I hear Sag say and that is the last thing I hear before losing conciseness.

Virgo's POV:

"Leo! Virgo, Is he okay? What's wrong with him?" Sagittarius was yelling beside me as we leant over Leo.

"He's okay, don't worry I think his just exhausted from the walk lets let him rest until the others get here," I say as I try to calm her down.

"Are you sure?" She asks looking into my eyes for the truth.

"I'm sure," I reply looking right back at her and she calms down. We wait for the others to get here.

Gemini's POV:

I was walking along the path with Aries as he playfully chased me to the front of the group. He said I was slow and this was my attempt to prove him wrong.

"Wait, wait," I say slowing down to catch my breath. I look forward and see something in the distance.

"See I told you, you are slow," Aries says as he comes up behind me. He looks confused when he sees my serious face.
"What's wrong?" He asks as he tries to follow my eye line.

"What's that? Out there in the distance?" I ask as I point to the figure.

"Is that? I think it's another staircase, and that most be the others there next to it. Hey, guys that's them!" He yells back to the others and we start to run towards them.

Capricorn POV:

We see the others up ahead and I run towards them as fast us I can. I know it was me that told Virgo to go with the others, but I still worried that something bad might of happened. I run up and he stands us he sees me coming. I give him a hug and he hugs me tightly back. I parted from the hug smiling and something was wrong.

"What happened?" I ask confused.
"Leo passed out. Virgo said he'd be okay though," Sagittarius says sadly not sounding very convinced. I look between the two of them and then crouch down to meet her level.
"Then he'll be okay," I say and she forces a smile.

"Do you know what's up the stairs?" I ask Virgo as I stand up.
"No, but I asked the Voice and she said it's our next challenge," he says sighing clearly over all this stupid challenge stuff.
"I hate this," Sagittarius whispered still crouched down next to Leo.
"Why are we even here? It's not fair," She continues and I look up at Virgo. Someone was finally saying what we were all thinking, why?  We had been taken from our lives and dumped here, in this place, where ever it is for unknown reasons, and it wasn't fair at all.

Scorpio's POV:

We had been sitting around the bottom of the ladder for about ten minutes when the Voice spoke. It said that the next challenge was ready and she needs four volunteers to do it.
"I'll go," Capricorn volunteered and Virgo immediately stopped her.
"You will not," he said and she was about to argue back when I chimed in.
"He's right Cap. You've already done two I can do this one," I say and she still argues.

"Sorry to ruin your moment macho man, but the Voice said four volunteers," she says as sassy as it comes.

"I can go," we hear a voice say and turn to see Pisces.
"I haven't done any yet," he says stepping forward and Taurus talks to.
"I'll go as well he says," and Capricorn tries to claim the last place.
"That's three I-" she gets cut off by Libra.
"Me too," she says from behind me.

"What? Libra, no," I whisper scream and she shrugs confused.

"Ok, thanks, better start the challenge now," Virgo says pushing us towards the stairs before Capricorn came up with some excuse to go. Taurus parts with Cancer and Pisces says goodbye to Aquarius and Sagittarius. Before slowly walking up the stairs. We talked up the stair and was surprised with what we saw. We found ourselves in a white room with electric sliding doors. There was a table in the middle of the room with trays of processed, canned food on them. The door closed behind us after entering the room.

"Okay, I really hate this," I say annoyed. I do hate this place it doesn't make any sense and all it does is play tricks on us.
"Are all the challenges like this?" Pisces asks as he walked around the bland room.

"I don't know. Maybe that's why Capricorn wanted to do them because you get food," Libra says jokingly and I storm over to her.

"What's wrong with you volunteering like that?" I ask anger boiling up inside me. She shivers backwards intimidated.

"Just, don't be so stupid in the future," I say backing away and she nods.

"Hey, over here," Taurus says by a small table in the corner and we all run over.

"There's a note," he says picking up the piece of paper and we look at what's in the box underneath it. It was full of advanced medical things and we gave each other a confused look. There were tablets, needles and all sorts of stuff some of them I didn't even know the name of.

"Your challenge is to help your injured contestant. Well done, it looks like you're off the hook this time," he reads from the paper. We really were off the hook. This was much easier than having to fight some other monster or having to find our way out of a maze.
"Does that mean what I think it means?" I ask taking the paper from his hand and Taurus starts running to the door.

"Yes, let's go get him," He says and we follow behind. He presses the button next to the door and it slides open. I turn around and see Pisces is still at the box.

"Pisces, come on, let's go!" I yell out toward him and he comes running. I walk out the door and it closes behind me.
"What? What happened? Let me out! help!" Pisces yells still on the other side of the door.

That's all for this chapter. Let me know what you thought in the comments. Until next time, cya!
