Chapter 1.
Im Amber, Im 15 years old. I live with my mom, because my dad left us when I was about 3.I also live with my older sister and younger brother. Im a straight A student and have many friends, as a matter of fact Im going to my bestfriends house right now.
I was walking to Sarah's house (my bestfriend for about 6 years). It was about 12 at night,it was freezing, and was very dark. I decided to take a shortcut. I started walking through the woods. There were trees everywhere and I hoped I was going in the right direction.
I was walking for probably about 5 minutes and I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched. I started walking faster, I had this feeling in my gut like something bad was going to happen. I just wanted to get to Sarah's, so I ignored the growing feeling and started running.
Even though I was running, somehow I could hear footsteps behind me. I slowed my pace and carefully turned around. As soon as I did, someone put a cloth over my mouth . I tried screaming, but the cloth muffled my sound. I couldn't breath and I was pretty sure that I was about to pass out. Sure enough, I did.
