Chapter #1 The breakdown

I've always been that one unusually awkward person in school. I never talked to anyone​not even my teachers. I always hear people talking about me behind my back but it never really bothered me. I'm from a small town in Oklahoma and I'm traveling to California for the rest of my school year. I am 17 so I have a driver's license and a car so I am driving myself there and leaving my family here so I can go start a life and do everything on my own. As I was about a mile away from my apartment complex my car broke down. I got lucky that it was in front of a mechanic shop. I walked in and asked " Can I use a phone to call someone because my car broke down." The guy at the counter that I was talking to had really pretty green eyes and all I could do was stare at them. "Uhh yeah I guess, what's your name by the way." He asked. "I'm Ashley, and you are?" I asked. "I'm Brennen, Brennen Taylor." He said. After we introduced each other he asked " Where are you going?" " I am going to my apartment I rented over the phone because I just moved here from Oklahoma." I said. "That's nice, how far is your apartment from here?" He asked. "About a mile I live in the equinox apartments" I said. He got a big grin on his face. "Hey I live there to I can give you a ride if you would like." He said. " Uhh sure." I replied back. I waited until he got off work then he drove me to the apartment complex and he walked me to my room. "Hey we are neighbors." He said. He came into my apartment room with me. For the next week we were hanging out and spending all of our time with each other than one day, "Ashley will you go out with me?" He asked. "Yes I will." I said. Then he picked me up and spun me around and kissed my lips. The next day I get a call from him and he said " I got kicked out of my apartment because my rent was late. He asked if he could stay with me so I said it was okay. Sorry for the short chapters. I've been busy with school and packing so we can move. I will write chapter two when I have time.
