"Not too bad actually." You shrug and sit up against the pillows stretching.

"That's good. You want something to eat?" he asks.

"Sure why not." You shrug, noting that you are actually extremely hungry.

"I'll be right back." He smiles and leaps up, pulls on some pants and runs out to the kitchen.

It isn't long before he comes back in with some freshly buttered toast and two cups of tea, one for each of you. As you sit in bed and sip away at the tea before trying to eat anything Bucky floods you with questions.

"That's weird that you feel better all of a sudden," he remarks.

"Yeah I guess." You shrug.

"What do you think it was?"

"I don't know, maybe I ate something bad at the restaurant last night."

"Good thing the kids aren't here at the moment, that gives you a chance to rest up."

"Hell yes I don't think I could've handled them this morning." You chuckle as you nibble at the toast.

Once you're finished you stretch and go to get out of bed.

"Where are you going?" Bucky frowns with puppy dog eyes and holds your hand.

"To freshen up in the shower and get dressed," you say simply.

But as soon as you go to stand up you have to sit down because you are so dizzy from a sudden severe head rush.

"Ugh, woah." You groan as you squeeze your eyes shut and grip your forehead as if that will make the way your head is spinning go away.

"What is it doll?" Bucky asks as he rushes around the bed to kneel in front of you. "Are you feeling okay?"

He presses his forehead against yours and strokes your knees with his thumbs in an attempt to sooth and comfort you.

"Oh god Buck." You gasp sadly as an extreme nauseous headache hits you. "I think I'm gonna be sick again."

"Here, quick, come on," he says urgently as he helps you up and guides you to the bathroom.

Your head is barely over the toilet bowl when you are puking up what you just ate and more.

"Aw (Y/N)," Bucky coos as he strokes your back and holds your hair out of the way. "Good girl, your okay."

You let out a little cry once you're finally finished and you fall back against Bucky's chest exhausted. It's disgusting. The whole thing just makes you want to vomit all over again. Your nose is running, your eyes are watering and your throat is stinging.

"Okay." You huff once you get your breath back. "Maybe it isn't just food poisoning."

"You think?" He chuckles lightly. "Come on, let's get you back to bed."

"No no I have to go get the kids from mum and make dinner and clean the house." You shake your head but realise that it's a mistake when it makes the room spin.

"No doll, I've got it under control. Don't you worry, you just need to rest." He sighs.

You nod as he helps you up and leads you back to bed without complaining anymore, you really do feel too crap to do anything. He carefully places you down and pulls the blankets over your trembling body, tucking them right up to your chin.

"No! Where are you going?" You wine as he plants a kiss on your forehead and gets up to leave.

"I've got to organise the kids and make the dinner and clean the house." He grins cheekily down at you.

"Thank you," you say relieved as you curl up tightly, clutching your aching stomach and staring blankly out the window.

Eventually you must drift off to sleep because next thing you know you are being gently shaken awake by Bucky.

"(Y/N), sweetheart, wake up doll." He whispers.

"Huh?" You mumble as you roll over and stretch out half asleep. "What time is it?"

"It's late afternoon, you've been asleep for nearly the whole day doll." Bucky smiles lovingly down at you as he strokes the hair out of your face.

"Woah," you say surprised.

"I just wanted to wake you up to tell you not to worry about the kids. I rung your mum and the kids are going to stay there again tonight," he explains softly.

"Oh, thank you." You sigh as you rest your head in his lap where he sits on the side of the bed. "How are you feeling?"

"Doll are you kidding? You're the one that's bed ridden!" he exclaims.

"Well I mean you kissed me before and I'm sick. I'm just checking that you aren't feeling sick too." You shrug as you trace the lines of his pants.

"I feel fine." He nods. "I just want to make sure you do too."

"That's good and I am feeling better thank you, I just don't have any energy," you say.

"Well then you just stay right here and get better." He smiles as he bends down to kiss your forehead.

You let out a deep breath as you drag yourself out of bed and slowly walk to the shower. It's been a week now and you really aren't feeling any better. All your same symptoms are still there.

It's really hard, your not going to lie. Between looking after the kids, you throwing up and feeling miserable and Bucky's nightmares that only seem to be getting worse, it is nearly too much for both of you to cope with.

Once you are done and drying yourself off with a towel you hear a soft knock on the bathroom door. You look up and see Bucky leaning against the doorway watching you curiously.

"Hey." You smile weakly.

"Darling I've been thinking," he starts and walks over to you, taking your hands in his causing you to look up at him.

"Yeah?" you urge him on slightly nervously.

"You've been sick for a while now, neither me or the kids have caught it and we've all been around you and I even kissed you..." he explains. "I've been thinking and do you think it's possible that what you might be experiencing is morning sickness?"

This pulls you up short. "I don't know, I didn't really think of that."

"But do you think it's a possibility?" he asks hopefully.

"I guess." You shrug. "But I never had it this bad with the other two."

"But all pregnancies are different right?" he urges.

You nod, looking at him seriously, excitement and nervousness pooling inside of you.

"So? What do you say we go find out then?" He smiles.
