I saw the hair. The fake blonde hair. All I could do was run. Right into the subway. I heard the train coming so I tried to blend in with the crowd. Looking over my shoulder, she caught my eye. Motioning to the two bigger women with her, she pointed my way. They started walking towards me, never once taking their eyes off of me. I pushed through the crowd, earning a few dirty looks from people, and tried to get on the train before the doors closed. Almost there, I looked over my shoulder. They weren't far behind me. Walking faster, I got on the train just before the doors closed. They ran to the door, banging on the window. I collapsed in a seat with a huff as the train moved. I looked out the window. Everything was going by fast. She was off my trail for a while. I laid my head back and fell asleep.
Next thing I know, I'm being shaken awake. I saw that the doors were open. Heading to the stairs, I felt a pair of eyes on me. I turned around and, turning, looked around. I saw a shadow and followed it. As I turned the corner, I saw it enter the bathroom. "Hello?" I heard a sob from the furthest stall. Slowly creeping towards it I asked if she was okay. I heard the lock click and the door creak open. Backing away, I saw familiar long curly black hair. I looked at her and gasped, backing into a sink.
She laughed, creepily, and pulled out her phone. She dialed something, never once taking her eyes off me, and spoke to someone on the other end. I saw the door wasn't far. Thinking I could make it, I crept towards the door. She saw me and stepped in my way. Finally, she hung up and, smiling, locked the door. Giving up, I flopped on the floor as far from her as I could get.
After sitting for what felt like hours, we heard someone bang on the door. She got up and whispered something about a password to the person on the other end. When they responded, she unlocked the door, letting the tall, bulky, red headed woman in the bathroom. She looked at me and whispered something in the other's ear. When she nodded, the red head walked over to me with a creepy smile on her face. She grabbed my arm and yanked me off the ground. Pulling me towards the door, I had to run because her steps were too big for me to walk. We turned the corner and we started walking toward the train that had just pulled up, getting on. I sat down in between the two standing. Since I had gotten six hours of sleep in the past two weeks, I laid back my head, thinking about my stupidity, and fell asleep.
Being shaken awake, for the second time today, I opened my eyes and stretched. I saw only me, the guards, and a homeless lady. She smiled at me and I nodded in return. I stood up as the guards reached down to grab my arm. As we got off the train, I noticed that not many people were there. Wondering what time it was, I turned and asked the guards. When they ignored me, I sighed and went to sit at a bench, with them on my tail. I saw a few people come down the stairs but none looking familiar.
Then suddenly, the one with the black hair got a text from someone and stood up, dragging me with her. They started walking towards the stairs. When we got to the stairs, the red head got behind me and the other in the front. Upon reaching the top, we walked to a grey car and got in. We headed towards the hotel. Finally, we got to the hotel and got out of the car. The driver sped away. Walking inside, I was amazed and not surprised by the beauty and glamour. We walked to the elevators and got on, after it came down. The guard with the black hair pressed the button for the top floor of the hotel. The elevator stopped and we got out. We walked to the final door and knocked.
When the door opened, I panicked. It was him. The one who put me through this. The one who sent her after me. I tried and run but he just picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. As he walked in the room, it settled in that I was caught and getting sent back to the one place I tried so desperately to forget. I stopped struggling as he slammed me in to a chair. Then she walked in. I spit right in her face. She wiped the spit off her face and slapped me across the face. I started yelling about what he did to me. She just laughed with him. She started going on about how I will forget it all soon and we will be a happy normal family. Then I felt a sharp pain in my neck. She bent down and whispered in my ear, "We will be a family. I am your mother and he is your father." The last thing I saw was her beautiful, fake smile.
