Showjumping from hell (Miniminter Fanfic)

Chapter 1

Hey guys I'm back with another story! Yep it's another Simon story but it's a little different from the first one so I hope you guys enjoy!

Jodie's POV
I woke up at 2:40pm I had been up all night last night editing and recording getting prepared for next week, as we all were. I am going to Dubai to compete in Showjumping Worlds with my horse Flicka. My friend Kira also got through so we are going together along with some of the guys who are coming to support us but also it's seen as a holiday too. I've been riding since I was 5 and I am now 22 so it's a long time. I turned to see if Simon was beside me but he must have already woke up. Me and Si have been together for almost 2 years it'll be our anniversary when we are in Dubai. I got out of bed and went over to check my phone, I just had the usual Instagram, twitter and YouTube notifications so I just cleared them and went to shower.

I got out the shower and brushed my teeth. I changed into leggings and a SDMN tank top. I made my way downstairs to get some food. 'Good afternoon babe' Simon said and I walked into the kitchen he gave me a smile. 'Good afternoon' I smiled back, just after that Kira and Vikk both walked in. Kira and Vikk were in a relationship too and have been for just over a year they met through me at a competition we were both at Vikk came to support and well you know they got talking etc etc. 'So how many more videos did you get last night?' I asked everyone in the room. 'I got another 4 recorded just have to begin editing them' Kira said sitting across from me at the counter. 'I got another 3 done and managed to get one edited' Simon said and Vikk said he got the same as Simon. 'Where's JJ and Josh?' Kira asked. 'I haven't seen JJ in a few days and he's supposed to be coming next week but I think josh is in his room he wasn't feeling well last night' Vikk replied. I made some toast and a glass of orange juice and headed up to my room. I had my own room in the house but I sometimes liked to sleep in Simons room. I sat over at my desk and started to edit one of the videos from last nights recording session it was Overwatch with Tobi and Ethan. I got about halfway through the video when I got a call from Melissa one of my closest friends. (A/N Jodie speaking is normal and Melissa speaking is italics) 'Hey Mel everything okay?'
'Hey Jodie, are you up at the stables today?'
'Yeah I'm going up after I'm finished editing why you wanna come?'
'Nah I'm gonna miss out today sorry just don't feel up to it'
'Ah that's okay is everything alright?'
'Yeah just not feeling up to leaving the house that's all'  she sounded very upset and that really concerned me.
'Oh okay well if you need me please don't hesitate to call me okay! I best get back to editing but I'll speak later'
'Thank you Jodie I won't, speak soon' she hung up after that. I went back to editing my video.

After about an hour I finally finished editing and set it to render. I changed into a purple polo shirt and just kept my legging on as it was quite sunny outside and I didn't like riding in jeans or shorts. I could t get Melissa out my head she'd been really down recently and I think it has to do with the hate she's been getting. Her and Cal recently got back together and the fans have had a mixed reception most of it was positive but some have been really brutal towards them. I grabbed my phone and car keys and headed downstairs. I made a stop in Simons room before I left. 'Hey Si I'm going to see Flicka for a few hours if you need me call me okay?'  'Okay babe be safe and have fun!' He said before coming over from his desk in his room and hugging me. 'Don't worry I will' I smiled before kissing his cheek and heading out to my car.

I got to the stables and went to get Flickas head collar and rope to go collect her from the field. I've been getting help off a stable hand to take care of Flicka recently because my YouTube schedule has been hectic so she would feed her in the morning and let her in the field, the. Afternoons I would come and get her for some training and exercise. 'Hey girl' I said as she walked over to me. Her black coat shone in the sun. I lead her back to her stable so I could tack her up.

Time Skip

I just finished up at the stable and drove home. On the way home I got a text from Josh.
Josh🤗:Hey jods can you pick us up a Nando's on your way back? Usual from everyone.
Me: Yeahh sure be there soon

I went to Nando's and ordered everyone's usual order from the house and then went to Starbucks because I wanted to try their new unicorn style drink. I got home at 9:30pm. 'NANDOS IS HERE' I shouted and heard everyone practically run downstairs. 'You is a true G jodie!' Vikk said smiling before grabbing his and everyone else came and got theirs. We all sat around the counter eating out Nando's and talking about the upcoming events expressing our excitement for the times ahead.

A/N so guys I'm back! Please tell me if you like this style obviously it's something I don't think anyone's ever tried to write like horse riding themed Simon stories lol anyway hope you enjoyed. Feedback is always appreciated, until next time see yaa✌🏻
