Jayk: yeah and I suppose taking him on the road with you is fun for him?

Ava: at least I'm there with him while he wished it was me and you there with him Jayk, he has cried every night wishing that you would come back home

Jayk: yeah well I can't be there, you know I travel everywhere I'm lucky if I get a day or two off

I see Riley walk back in the house and stand beside Ava

Riley: don't yell at her!

Jayk: stay out of this Riley!

Zak: what's going on in here?

Riley: nothing uncle Zak

Zak: are you okay Ava?

Ava: yeah I'm fine

She grabbed the Riley's birthday cake and walked to the backyard with Riley, after she put the cake down on the table I seen her turn around and started trying to calm Riley down

Zak: Jayk I don't mind you being here but if I ever hear you yell at my sister and nephew again that's when me and you are going to have a problem, Ava is only talking to you because of Riley, so I suggest you do the same, she still loves you Jayk, she is doing a great job with Riley

Jayk: I know I just miss her and I didn't mean to yell at her, I'm gonna go apologize

I walk outside and sit down beside her

Jayk: I'm sorry Ava I didn't come here to argue with anyone

Ava: I know that Jayk, let's just forget it okay

I seen Riley sitting under a tree with Ollie

Ava: you should go talk to him

Jayk: I don't want to upset more

Ava: just go Jayk I'm sure he will listen just don't yell at him

I got up and walked over to him, I sat down beside him under the tree

Jayk: hey I'm sorry for yelling at you Riley, can we please talk?

Riley: sure let's talk, about what though?

Jayk: I know I haven't been here for you for the past five years but I have been trying

Riley: it doesn't seem like you have dad

Jayk: I know and it's not fair to you

Riley: you promised that you and mom would get back together

Jayk: I know I promised that and some things change Riley

Riley: mom still loves you and I wish you two would get back together

Jayk: me and your mom love you but I just don't see us getting back together anytime soon son

Riley: I knew you was going to say that, do you even love mom anymore?

Jayk: I will always love your mom but I can't force her into anything, if she wants to get back together when she is ready

I heard Ava call his name to go get something to eat, I stayed sitting under the tree while the others sung happy birthday to him, I looked over at Ollie who had a look in his eyes like what are you doing? It was like he was telling me to get up and join the others, I stood up and I walked over to them, I wrapped my arms around Ava's waist and laid my head on the back of her head

Jayk: I love you Ava and I'm sorry for everything I've done

Zak took a picture of him after he blew out the candles on his birthday cake and he posted it on Twitter and Riley saved it to his phone so he could post it on his Facebook profile later tonight
