I was just watching 13 reasons why on my MacBook when my mom called me downstairs.

Coming! I ran downstairs slightly annoyed with my mom for interrupting my show.

Your father and I are going out to dinner with the Rowland's and we decided we wanted you to go to.

Fine. I walked upstairs to get ready. I skimmed through my closet before deciding to wear my black shirt and gray cardigan. I slipped my jeans on and cuffed them to go over my high tops, but not to high where my legs where showing. I then put my pinkish and silver diamond earrings in to match. I also put my gold arrow necklace on. I walked to my bathroom and redid my makeup to match better to. I then quickly straightened my hair and put my black, high top converse on. Grabbing my phone and walking downstairs. My parents were both sitting on the couch ready to go, we all walked out to the car together. I sat in the back and texted my boyfriend,

Hey Mark I might be a little late to the movies but I will be there, promise😘

Okay, where are you?

Driving somewhere to have dinner with some family, idrk my parents dragged me along🙄

I turned my phone off just as we were pulling into Olive Garden. I hopped out and started to follow my parents inside, my dad spoke to the lady,

And with that we were walking towards the Rowland family.

As we sat down, I was sitting across from a boy who was looking down at his phone. When I sat down he looked up for a slight second turning his attention back to his phone, like a split second later though he was looking back at me.

Hey I'm Hunter. He told me with a super cute smile.

Hey I'm MacKenzie but you can call me Kenzie.

Okay Kenzie. He said, still smiling. That smile. That smile was going to kill me. I snapped out of my thoughts when the waitress came by to get our order of drinks. We all order then she walked away. I stood up then.

I'm going to charge my phone, it's almost dead.

Okay. I said slightly smiling at him. I started to walk over, leaving Hunter a little behind. I plugged my phone in and sat there scrolling through Instagram. Hunter came a sat by me and he unlocked his phone, clicking on his message app. I peeked over, pretending to read something on my phone, trying to see who he was texting. I finally read what it said,

My heart slightly broke, I don't why because I have a boyfriend to, but I guess it was just something about Hunter. I started to question him, with a smirk on my face.

Who ya texting. I said, turning my phone off and giving Hunter my full attention.

U-u-m no one. He stuttered quickly opening Instagram on his phone. I just smiled, and kept talking.
