The wind is cold as it blows through the crowd of onlookers. They're all staring upwards, but not at the sky that's filled with smoke and fumes but at the giant billboards that can scarce be seen amongst the pollution. "Heads or Tails," bellowed the excited commentator. Thousands of people had gathered upon rooftops now and were cheering with all the air in their lungs. "The finals have come folks and it's time to see whether the King can hold on to his title!" As the commentator stopped his cheer, the image upon the screen changed and a boy appeared wearing a black shirt to go with his jet black hair and a white tie. He looked no older than 17 and sported a smile that was both evil and sickly sweet. The swarm of people that had gathered began chanting his name," Darius,Darius, Darius!" Suddenly a thud resonated from within the screen and another boy appeared, probably about 14 but he an old fashion army jacket and shirt that was unbuttoned at the top. His ginger hair was swept back under a navy beenie. The two stared at each other with great determination as the camera angle span to take an overhead shot. "It's been a while Seam, thank you for climbing my tower!" Darius proclaimed in a gentle but violent voice. Everyone gasped at the realisation that these two knew each other. Seam grabbed a tiny tuft of his hair and began to twiddle his finger around it. "OK time to stop dawdling and play the game!" The coins are tossed into the air and they begin to do somersaults. Fire burns in the hearts of the competitors and the coins slumped back into their hands. Darius's heads, Seams tails. "Nice and even!" Yelled Seam. Darius laughed, and began to clench his stomach. "You think this make us even?" His voice and manner turned sour. "No, far from it, your strength is 0 and the coin toss times that number by two." Seam scoffed at this comment. His smile had become cocky as words spill from his mouth, in a tone that was something strange and unreadable." I haven't fought in nine months and you assume my stats haven't changed!" The crowed stood in disbelief. Although people had stood against Darius before, none had been as confident, not even close. Both flashed their teeth and began to charge. As his head curled, Seam stopped smiling. Darius' heel was slammed on the back of his head as it slowly hit the floor. From the side of Seam's mouth was blood from where he had bitten his tongue in the fall. A shiver was sent down his spine. He had seen what happened to the others and the fear was starting to kick in. He pulled his tongue back in and let the blood slide down his throat. The blood that had fallen upon the floor began to soak into the wood. His cocky smile faded and he began to sound quite pathetic,"Please come home, your mother, your sister , their in tears!" Seam began spluttering blood as the final words passed through his lips. Darius' smile was now so sickly it was pure evil. "Let those poor beggars cry!" He said as his foot slid down Seam's neck. When his foot was about halfway down, Darius slammed his heel down on the blood stained floor while the toe was placed gently on Seams neck. No one could escape when put in this position, he knew that. If he even tried to move, the toe would pierce his neck. Then he'd have no air. He lifted his hands and made L shapes, a sign of surrender. But Darius didn't give up. His heel swung round and planted itself firmly in Seams back before swinging his other leg around and stand on his shoulders. His toes were placed firmly in his neck and the air escaped from his throat. As Darius jumped forward of Seam's back and bowed towards the crowd, Seam laid there on the floor, thankful for his life.
