Alex: I get a new job

Heyo guys! so i decided to write another chapter because my brain is overflowing with ideas! ok.... not really i just wanted to get out of doing the dishes. anyways, thank you guys soooooo much for helping us past 200 reads! you guys rock!! anyways here is the next chapter enjoy!

So far there were.... three choices for me. JCPenny's, CAL ranch, and a cashier at Lowes. i sighed and looked out the window. thats when i heard a huge commotion in the kitchen area. 

"I QUIT!" someone shouted and stomped out. "Great." someone sighed. "We just lost our best cashier." my thoughts started to connect. Leia's great at math... She likes people..... she needs a job... she can do..... I stood up and dragged Leia over to the manager. "Alex... Lexi... what are you... what are you doing?" i ignored her and tapped the manager on the shoulder. he turned around stiffly. "YEs?" he said, like he didn't have time for us. i smiled and said "This is my sister Leia. I just happened to notice one of your cashiers quit and she would love to take that posistion..." he sighed "May i see your refrences?" My eyes widened at that but smiled and grabbed her purse. "Come on..." i mumbled under my breath. i smiled reassuringly at him. my hands grabbed a fistful of papers. i slowly pulled them out and saw they were refrences. i looked skeptically at them and handed them to him. his eyes widened. "YOU WORKED FOR THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND?!?!?!?!" My thought process was going "What the Bloody hell is he going on about. that filthy witch, i bet she did all this grr once we get back to aether i'm going to...." but i just said "YEs she did!" and grinned convincingly. Leia was still in shock, but she stuttered. "Y..yes sir." she breathed deeply and began to get over her ... "YOU'RE HIRED!!!!!!" yep never mind she went back into shock. he walked her over to the regestier and got her started. i walked over to our table right as Syd yelled, "A HORSE RANCH!!" i jumped a mile in the air. "Bloody hell Syd did you have to yell?" She jumped up and simply shouted "SEE YA!" Its a good thing we were the only customers in here. i ran after her into the pouring rain... without my coat.... or umbrella.... "WAIT! We don't have a...." She speed down the road. "Car." i said deflating. I walked back inside soaking wet. Tessa jumped up the instant i walked in. "Xandi! are you okay? My god you're soaking wet. we have to get you back to the house to change, but we don't have a car, and....." i looked at her with my signature, will you shut up? look and she faded out. i walked over to my chair and grabbed my coat and umbrella. i walked out the door and started walking home. "Lexi!" i heard Liam calling. he caught up and said " I'll drive you back home." i smiled and said "Thanks, but i don't want to put you out of your way. " "Oh, you wouldn't be and of course Tessa would come..." "You're bloody right i'm coming. I'm not letting my sister get in the car with a boy... alone!" Tessa said as she caught up with us. I laughed "Thanks." i smiled and we got in the car. Liam rolled out of the parking lot and set down the street.

When we got back to our house, Liam stayed downstairs in the living room while Tessa and i went upstairs to my room. When we got up there i asked about Nathaniel and Liberty. "They said they would meet us back there when we were done and keep and eye on Leia. ya know. make sure she doesn't blow up the buliding on her first day." I laughed loudly at that, then ran into my closet to pick out some clothes. i had decided on JCPenny's, and called and schedueled an interview at 3:00. it was 12:00 now so i had about three hours. Joy. three hours to sit and pounder my fate. i decided to go for a "casual, but i care" look, i grabbed some jeans, a gold blouse, and a new pair of white boots. i walked out and Tessa had went and brought Liam up to my room. I smiled and headed to the restroom to take a shower. i quickly washed my hair and face and hopped out. i swiftly pulled on my clothes. i walked out while i was brushing my hair. Tessa was chatting with Liam about sports in school. i smiled and walked over to my vainity. i turned on my curling iron and got my pins and clips together. i sat down and did my make-up. I started with some gold eyeliner, and winged it. then i put on some white eyeshadow and mascera, and neutral lip gloss. i started curling my hair, and once i was finished i started pinning it up with my bobby pins and hair clips till it was in a half up half done style. i got up and walked over to them. "Do you want me to do your hair tessa?" She shrugged and went to go sit down at my vainity. i smiled and turned on my straightener. once it was hot enough, i started to straighten her hair, then braided a section. i pulled it over her head like a head band. i pinned it down and did a section on the other side. when i was finished the braids formed an x. i smiled and presented it to her. "Wow Thanks, Xandi! you're Amazing!" I laughed and said, come on lets go meet the others at startbucks... again." the three of us all started to get into our own cars then i said "Hey Tessa which job are you wanting?" "Bootbarn." i remembered that it is right next to Penny's. "How conveienent." i smiled. i got in the car with her. it seemed to click and she smiled and pulled out.

when we pulled back into starbucks i had about thirty minutes till my interview, same with Tessa. we chatted with Nathaniel, Liberty, and Liam for about ten minutes. we waved good bye to Leia and everyone else and hopped into Tessa's red 1976 Ford Shelby GT 500 Mustang and drove to Bootbarn and JCPenny's.
