ONE EYED

The Beginning

It was August 17th, 2017, a wonderful day to celebrate. It was my birthday, I finally hit the big 17! Today was exciting, I got a new macbook and multiple mangas.

Sam, Jay, and I were walking back to my house from the bookstore. It was a cool, sunny day, everyone was outside enjoying the weather. I was surprise there were no reports of ghoul attacks, where I live we have these...odd people who only survive off human flesh. They're called ghouls and lately they've been are getting crazier everyday, I try my best to keep it off my mind though..

I got lost in my thoughts until Sam and decided to say something.

" Well.. is the birthday girl happy today ?" I was quiet for a while until I spoke.

" Um yeah I'm happy but i feel..funny like some BIG accident is going to happen..."
They began walking slow.

" What makes you say that ? " Jay asked nervously.

" I don't know..." I looked down.
Sam rolled her eyes " Jay don't listen to her crap she's probably just tired.. it's been a loong day we've been shopping and running around a lot .." Jay nodded.

N/A: sighs I know I'm not crazy something bad is going to happen I swear.

We were almost close to my house until Jay got a important call.

"Hey N/A  I have to go.. my brother is terribly sick and he needs my help.. I'm so sorry! "
Jay ran off yelling something before we could say our goodbyes, so Sam and I continued to my house.

The closer I got home the worst I felt. I knew something was going to happen, but I didn't have a clue as to what would happen.

I looked at Sam nervously. " S-Sam do you feel funny ?"

She chuckled and said " N/A..i'm going home I don't feel like dealing with this.."

She walked away rolling her eyes. I continued walking home..alone, It was dark outside, pitch black..I was cold and scared. I don't know what her problem was but right now i didn't want to think about it.

I began walking fast, which turned into running. I ran without even thinking which caused me to end up into a alleyway and the best part is.. it was a dead end. I turned around hoping that nothing was there..I was out of luck.

When I turned there was a bloodthirsty ghoul in front of me. I was paralyzed with fear, I had nowhere to run. "This is it." I thought, not moving an inch.

I closed my eyes waiting for him to kill me..until a white-haired guy, who looked the same age as me, killed him. I stood there still terrified not knowing what to say or do.

The white haired guy walked up to me the shoved his hand into my stomach. I fell to ground slowly as my vision got black, starring at the guy who "saved" my life.
