This was it.
He was going to get it off his chest. A burning feeling he had kept inside all those years. He wanted Murdoc to know how he felt. He sighed, rubbing his arm. He was alone in the house, planning his attack.
"I'll do it today!" He decided, then pausing. "Or.. maybe.. next week.."
Damn it. Make up your mind, Stuart! He sighed with frustration, hugging his knees to his chest. He'll wait, he decided. He'd tell Murdoc off, just not now. Later.. in the next few weeks. He soon began to plan his words, mumbling to himself different ideas for his statements. The door swung open, Russel walking in, slouched and tired.
"Ah, 'ello Russ!" 2D greeted innocently, waving to the large man.
"Yo." He greeted, waving a hand as he walked upstairs. 2D slumped over, frowning. This sucked. Noodle soon entered as well, walking into the living room and seating herself on the couch beside Stuart. She gave a friendly smile.
"2D! How has your day been?" She asked, sitting up in an attempt to meet his height. He giggled, slouching down a bit more.
"Eh, 's been alright. Not perfect, jus' alright."
"Ahh, it's been one of those days?"
"Yeah." The two laughed quietly. Noodle stood, giving him a pat on the head as she left for the kitchen. Murdoc grumbled as he stepped into the house, slamming the door shut behind him. 2D frowned once again, looking up at the doorway. Murdoc scoffed as 2D tried to greet him with a nervous 'hello..'
"Oi, I thought I told you t' clean up around 'ere!" He spat, hitting the blue-haired male across the back of the head. "Get to it!"
He whimpered, looking down at his feet as he rubbed the back of his head.
"I'm.. sorry." He apologized, starting his work on cleaning the living room up a bit. He hummed to himself, the tune to Saturnz Barz still stuck in his head from the recording a few days before. Once complete and content with his work, he plopped back onto the couch.
"2D, could you come here please?" Noodle called from the kitchen, resulting in 2D somewhat quickly making his way over to said kitchen. She was trying to climb onto the counter in order to reach something. Her favorite cookies. Russel had put them up there so she'd eat less of them.
"Help?" She asked quietly, smiling. Of course, 2D was clueless on the matter and reached up, taking them down for here.
"There you go."
"Thank you so much!" She cheered, bowing her head as she was used to, skipping off to her room to chow down on her cookies. He giggled, closing the cupboard and starting the kettle. His mom always said that headaches could be treated with tea, as well as stress and anxiety, and oh boy was he nervous. Murdoc scared him, but he had to stand up for himself. Murdoc stomped into the room, as if on cue, grabbing a beer from the fridge. Stuart looked at him, silent.
"What're you lookin' at, faceache?" He growled, popping the bottle open.
"Er, nothin'.." He mumbled in reply, looking back at the kettle. Watching the steam rise was almost relaxing, made him think.
"Well, whatever the hell you're doin', it's weird."
He frowned, looking back at Murdoc. Yeah? Well you're weird!... is what he would say, if he only had the courage. He sighed. Now or never.
"Uh.. Murdoc?
"Whaddya want?" He spoke, gruff and agitated.
"... Nevermind."
Should I make this a story?
Tell me in the comments, please.
