It All Started With A Deal

Chapter 1

Zach's POV

"What's this? How can this stupid statement be in my father's will?" Here I am at my office with my father's lawyer. And I cant help myself to raise my voice...

"Is this some kind of a joke? Well, it's not funny, this is unbelievable... This is a serious matter Mr. Santiago, and if its a joke, its not funny at all.... how can you joke around like that."

Im already stressed in my office, and this joke even made it worse... Mr. Santiago sensed my anger within my last words..... and he let out a sigh....

"Mr. Lanoza, just like what you had said, this is a serious matter, and Im not joking"
He said seriously, and started to pack his things...
"This is what your father really wanted, you need to get married in order to have the company, and Im sure that you dont want this company to be sold" he already stand up, just waiting for my permission for him to go.....

I also stand up and shake his hand...

"Alright Mr. Santiago, thanks for the time....."

He was about to take a step when he said something....

"Oh, I almost forgot, you only have a month and your father wants a big wedding. So see you at the wedding Mr. Lanoza."

And with that, he already left my office....

What did he say? I only have a month? And a big wedding? Father really wants my wedding to be known by the public..... This is a nightmare please someone, wake me up!!!!!!

Could this day be more worst? How can I escape from this?...... Im not ready yet for marriage..... I must do something I cant afford to loose this company..... There's no other thing that I want in this world but this company....

Schera's POV

Yes!!!! I made it..... Unang araw ko ngayon bilang isang tauhan ng isang kumpanya....

Ay!!! Oo nga pala..... hi there Im Schera Jade Romualdez (Schera - Sheh-hera) proud accountant po at nasa financial department ako ng Lanoza Enterprises. 24 years of age.....

Acually, dream ko talagang mag trabaho rito.... kasi nga diba.... one of the successful companies here in the Philippines. Kaso, walang bakanteng pwesto noon kaya naghanap muna ako ng ibang trabaho until here I am now....

"Today, everything changes" bulong ko sa sarili ko "Para kay mama" at pinagpatuloy ang aking paglalakad dito sa lobby patungong front desk....

Wow..... ang ganda naman dito... What do you expect nga naman sa isang successful na kompanya na kilala hindi lang sa buong Pilipinas pati na rin sa ibang bansa....

"Hi maam, good morning, what can I do for you?" Wow, ang ganda ni ate ah.... syempre, ang gandang kumpanya dapat front desk palang bongga na....

"Good morning too, Im the new assistant of the finacial department head, can I ask if where is her office?" English rin ang sagot ko, para mukhang professional ^_^

Ngumiti siya sakin at may tinignan siya sa monitor na nasa table... after ng ilang segundo ay nagsalita siya ulit.

"You must be Miss Romualdez then" tumingin siya sakin

"Yup, Im Schera Jade Romualdez" pagpapakilala ko.

"By the way Im Jenna, hindi ka mahihirapan dito, almost lahat ng empleyado dito ay mababait kaya chill ka lang" tumawa siya ng bahagya at nagpatuloybsa pagsasalita, "okay, punta ka sa seventeenth floor at deretsohin mo lang yung hall at may makikita kang Office of the Department Head" ngumiti siya at ginantihan ko rin siya ng ngiti
