Summer was by far the best season. The blue skies the longer days,even at night it was hot enough to wear shorts and a tank. In Avalon ,Texas the summer heat was scorching but it sure beat the 0 degree winters. Avalon is a small town where the money is old and the people are simple minded. The town basically ran on the Blake families backs. The matriarch of the family Alice Blake was a proper Southern belle with a smile as sweet as honey and a tounge like a snake. She ran her family with an iron fist sheathed in a satin glove. And all of her greatgrand children were a bunch of spoiled rich kids that thought their family money made them better than everyone else. But that was a North Side problem, on the South Side it was a completely different story. Thats were all the delinquents, drug addicts, and drunks were. It consisted of run down houses and trailers, but to the people that lived there it was home. Each side of town had two schools 1-5 and 6-12. Now the schools on the North side had the latest technology and the best books while the South side got the scraps. They made due. The South side had the best parties so who needs school right?
North Siders(NS) had the South Side(SS) right where they wanted them, far away from their perfect little princesses and their princes with the bright futures. They had a system in place and the system worked. But now someone was about to cheat the system.
