I groaned in annoyance as the front door opened and the summer heat rushed in. "Why the fuck is it so hot?" my friend Alex asked "how the hell should I know." Was my annoyed reply as I reluctantly left the couch to check if any ice cream appeared in the freezer. Saddened I slowly trudged to my room to get ready for work hopefully it will be cooler this evening. "Alex get your ass off my couch and let's go, I'd rather not face Mrs. Joanna's wrath." "Whatever you say kei but it's your fault were late." Before I could ask what he meant he disappeared, he cheated that jerk he knows using his powers are against the rules. I thought as I rushed out the house and to my car where he was waiting for me. "You cheated" I said as I got into the car "You did say to hurry" I glared at him and rushed out the drive way to work "it's already six forty-five, we have to be on the property by seven a.m. not including the fact it takes twenty minutes to get there" I said and stepped on the gas. When we finally got to work it was already seven and everyone was rushing around the building and we went our separate ways.
