There was once a lady who lived in a cozy little place and she had two sons whom she cherished a lot. She was an exemplary mother and a loving wife. As she sat down at the embroidery table and watched her two children, she longed for a third child and whispered to herself :
'Oh! how I wished to have a daughter too... I would love her and adore her as much as I adore my sons.'
Soon, she was carrying her third child and thus was impatient to welcome the little angel in her world. She was very enthusiastic and prayed that this time maybe it would be a little girl. Those nine months were very long for her. In the meantime, she took care of her family and herself.
One night, she started having her labor pains and her husband took her to the hospital as quickly as he could. Her husband was very excited about the fact that a new member is coming into their family. Thus, they waited for the good news and kept waiting.
Finally, a man dressed in white came out of the labor ward and asked the husband to sign a paper as an emergency cesarean had to be performed in order to save the life of both mother and child.
The hours seemed long and frightening. That night while waiting for the doctors to come out of the surgery room, he kept thinking about the first time he had seen her and it was love at first sight. He was sure that she will be the one who would be his wife. He thought of how happy his wife was just one day before about the fact that soon their child will be with them.
The door opened and the nurse looked sad. While her wish had been fulfilled, the mother had gone in a coma and did not even see her baby girl for once. The husband had to sign yet another piece of paper to give them permission to do surgery as she was having pain due to infection. The child was diagnosed with jaundice, she was kept in the incubator waiting for the mother to get well.
It was a bad day for all the family members who were waiting for the mother to wake up sound and safe. However, her health kept deteriorating. They found out that all this occurred because of the doctor's carelessness. They had left cotton buds inside her and it was too late when they realized that.
Four days after, the mother died leaving behind her three children and all her close ones who were devastated knowing they would not see her again. They could not accept how a normal childbirth delivery could turn into a nightmare...
