"The world isn't what it used to be." Commander Garrison looked at his soldiers who are missing limbs and crying in agony.
"We were the most powerful men in the land, thousands of men gave up their lives. We were thousand now we're a meir six soldiers."
The commander sat down and blamed himself of all that's happened. He believed it was his selfishness that led to the loss of his men but who would've thought that the cause of all this came from the smallest of causes.
"If that boy hadn't existed we could've lives in peace." Garrison thought of the boy who was cursed from birth.
"If I killed him then this would've ne......" Pain began to course through his eye, blood dripping from the pain from which he lost vision in one of his eyes. He stood up bearing the pain to fight whatever caused it. A creature much larger, a demon slowly landed laughing like a lunatic at the damage he's caused on the commander.
"Who would've thought you had god's blessing on your side. The demon stared at the chest od the commander and the soldiers which carried crystals each of different colors.
"I will scrape your face off the earth for what you took from me!" The commanders crystal shined brightly burning the demon."So you do have the gift of hell, he was right about you"
"What do you mean!"demanded Garrison. The demon simply disappeared with a reched smile. Garrison got on his knees and covered his mouth coughing blood.
"I think I used too much." The soldiers surrounded their commander and still shocked from his wounds and the demons appearance.
"He's losing too much blood we need first aid! NOW!" One of the soldiers went up to Garrison and kneeled beside him.
"I can heal him but the price is very high to pay. It requires a sacrifice." The second in command officer Vicky came voulentered to be the sacrifice.
"Don't..*cough*.. do this you'll..*cough*..die."
"We can't risk losing our father figure from our cowardness."
"This isn't enough I'm afraid we need more...." The medic was shook from having to play with the lives of others. The medic began in tears as the remaining soldiers all voulentered to sacrifice.
"A..A..Are you s..s..sure you want to do this? The captain was in tears not being able to speak against them.
"You were my children from horrible beginnings, we managed to sacrifice ourselves for our country and our loved ones, what more can I ask for when the ones I care for give up their life for me?"
Tears began to stream down everyone's faces. Garrison passed a cherished look being surrounded by those he cherished his life with and could hear their last words l right before his mind went into a dark abyss.
"We'll always be with you......."
