Chapter 12 :1 week later : surprise baby shower

Emily is 6 and a half months pregnant , Today was the day of Emily's surprise baby shower .........

It was 12 o clock and Benji and Emily had been discussing baby names and having a lazy morning together whilst the girls , Jesse , bumper and Emily's mom were decorating the cricket club( room for partys ) ready for the shower, which emily didn't know about .........
" OMG Benji I love that name " Emily says happily
" me too Babe , I think it will really suit her , but I love the other one too " Benji says smiling at Emily
" I know me too , it's so hard to pick , naming a person isn't as easy as a dog " Emily says laughing
Benji laughs and says " don't worry em we'll know straight away once we see her little face " Benji says smiling at her and stroking her bump
" we will , oh Benji I'm so happy " Emily says smiling at him cradling her bump
" me too , Iv never been as happy as I am with you and our little wriggler " Benji says kissing Emily with his hands at either side of her bump
" she really likes it when we kiss , she always kicks differently when we do " Emily says smiling down at her belly
Benji smiles and kisses her bump "she likes knowing we love each other and knowing we love her "
Emily smiles
" hey Benji I'm worried about the girls I haven't heard from them all day and I haven't had any drunken texts off fat Amy either " Emily says giggling
" I'm sure their fine em, maybe there just leaving us to have a day together today " Benji says trying not to blow the secret and laughing
Emily nods and smiles ....
A couple of minuets later Benji gets a text off Jesse saying they were ready for her and that the girls had bought her a dress and heels and got her outfit ready were they were
" hey em go get changed I'm taking you somewhere " Benji says
" ok " Emily says happily as she goes upstairs , touches her makeup and hair up and gets changed
Benji gets changed and they get in the car ::::?
" were are we going " Emily says
" ahhh you'll have to wait and see " Benji says smiling at her
" fine " Emily says with puppy eyes giggling ....

10 minuets later they arrive at the function room and get out of the car ::
Benji and Emily walk up to the door and Benji opens it and smiles at Emily as they both walk in
" SURPRISE!!!!!!" Everyone shouts as they jump out
" oh my gosh " Emily says jumping back with one hand on her bump and the other over her mouth
Everyone greets and congratulates her and Emily goes into the bathroom and gets changed into the dress and heels the girls had picked out for her :::
" omg you look a..mazing " Chloe says looking at Emily as she walks out
" thanks Chlo, I still can't believe you girls did all this " Emily says hugging them all and smiling
" we all wanted to do something special for you and your little girl " Chloe says smiling
Emily smiles
"Benji , your mom and Chloe were the brains of it " beca says laughing
" did we scare you " fat Amy asks
" oh yes if I was anymore scared I think the baby would of fallen right out of me " Emily says laughing
All the girls laugh .....

Emily goes over and talks to her mom with Benji and some of the other guests , a couple of her old friends from school were there and friends of the family there must of been about 30 or 40 people there ::::
" hi mom " Emily says smiling as she hugs her
" hi sweetie , you look gorgeous " her mom says
Emily blushes and smiles , as she was talking to her mom the door opened and her brother and a girl walked through
Emily looks shocked as he walks towards them
"Hi Dom , oh my gosh what are you doing here" Emily says excitedly as she hugs her brother
" I wanted to come and see you and mom , when she told me you were pregnant I couldn't believe it my little sis having a baby and then she told me you were engaged , just look at you" he says looking at Emily , her bump and Benji and smiling
Emily smiles back
" yep you're going to have a little niece in a few months " Emily says smiling as she strokes her bump
" I can't wait to meet her " Dom says as he smiles at Emily and Benji
" this is Benji my fiancé "!Emily says
" nice to meet you and welcome to the family " Dominic ( her brother ) says shaking his hand and smiling
" you too and thank you " Benji says smiling
" you look after my sis " he says laughing
" I will I promise " he says laughing
" he takes really good care of me and our little one " emily says smiling at Benji with her hand on her bump
" good I'm glad , and this is my girlfriend Mia " Jason says
" it's lovely to meet you Mia " Emily says hugging her
" you too , congratulations to both of you on your little girl " she says
" thank you "Emily says putting a hand on her bump and smiling
" your ring is so pretty and I love your dress it really suits your bump " Mia says looking at Emily's hand and her dress
" thank you Benji had it specially made for me and the girls chose the dress I love it too , I love having my bump " Emily says smiling at her and then Benji looking at her bump
Benji smiles back and says
" I'm gonna go make sure all the gifts are set up for you be back in a sec "
" ok babe " Emily says as she gives him a quick kiss
Her brothers girlfriend goes over and talks to Emily's mom for a few minuets .....
" you look really happy sis " her brother says
" I am Benji and the baby are the best things that have ever happened to me and I can honestly say Iv never loved anyone as much as I love Benji he's an amazing guy " Emily says smiling as she watches Benji
" I'm so happy for you so when's she due , mom didn't tell me all the details " her brother says looking at Emily's belly
" April 10 th " Emily says
" wow not too much longer then " he says smiling
" nope I'm so anxious to meet her these past couple months have been amazing , I love feeling her kicking " Emily says as she smiles when she feels her kick
He smiles
And Emily says
" would you like to feel "
Her brother smiles and says " yea I'd love too " Emily places his hand on the side of her bump were she was kicking
He smiles at her and says " that baby's got big toes " and laughs
" yep , literally everyone says that , So you seem to be getting on well with Mia were did you meet" Emily asks laughing at the big toes comment
" we are we met at a karaoke bar a couple of months ago" her brother says
" oh , you doing karaoke since when " Emily says laughing
Benji checks the gifts were ready and tells everyone to sit around emily whilst she opened them ::::
" oh my god mom " Emily says smiling at the unicorn onesie and socks
" I thought she could match her mommy " her mom says
" thank you " Emily says smiling as she places it over her bump
" what do you think little one your going to match mommy , we just need to get daddy one now " Emily says smiling at her bump as she feels her kicks which moves the onesie up off her bump abit
" she agrees " Emily says as she gives Benji a cheesy grin
Benji rolls his eyes and laughs
" wow they were big kicks " beca says laughing looking at Emily's bump
Benji smiles and rubs her belly
" they were I could actually feel her toes pressing against my belly " Emily says smiling
everyone aww's ....
Emily Carrys on opening her presents
Off the girls the baby got :::
Teddy bears , blankets , outfits, a mommy pamper box for Emily and lots more
Off her mom and brother and Benji the baby got a fluffy designer pink pram with a matching car seat that said little princess on it , a personalised blanket that said junk/applebottom and something really special ( and lots of other things too , one of the other gifts was a baby record book and a wooden photo frame with a scan photo of the baby in and had "made with love" scrabble letters stuck on )
"omg " Emily says as she starts to cry as she gets up and hugs Benji , her brother and her mom
Benji smiles and hugs her
" what is it " Stacie asks
" a 4d scan to see her face , we finally get to see her little face " Emily says curling into Benjis shoulder " thank you babe thank you thank you thank you "
Benji smiles and kisses her and rubs the side of her bump and Emily's brother and mom smile at her reaction
" I'm so glad you like it " her mom says smiling at her
" I love it , I'm so excited to see her face, when is it " Emily asks
"A couple of weeks off , I knew how much you and Benji wanted to see her face so I though it was the perfect gift " her mom says smiling at Emily and Benji
" I honestly can't believe it a bump cast session and a 4D scan I'm so lucky , were do you guys find these things " Emily says laughing
" ahhh " her mom says tapping her nose
Emily and benji laugh
After Emily had opened her presents , they ate cut the cake together
"The cake is so pretty " Emily says smiling
Everyone smiles at her
Her mom was looking at her and smiling " your little bump is so cute em " her mom says as she strokes Emily's belly
" not so little now " Emily says smiling at her moms face feeling her kick
" are you kicking for your grandma " Emily's mom says kissing Emily's bump
" she loves her grandma " Emily says
" her grandma loves her , millions and millions" Emilys mom says smiling
After talking Benji picks up his mock tail glass and taps it
" Id like to make a toast to my Beautiful fiance the mommy to be , I love you so much em and there's nobody else in this world that could make me happier than you and our little girl I'm the luckiest man on the planet to have you both and I'm so excited for what's to come for us ,bring on this next year , to Emily and bump" Benji says raising his glass and putting his glass down, whilst putting his arm around Emily and his other hand on her belly
" to Emily and bump " everyone says raising their glasses
Emily smiles and kisses him
Emily's mom takes a picture of them
" come on mommy and daddy picture time " Emily's mom says smiling at them
Emily and Benji do some poses and take pictures with people and begin talking again .....
