Oh, when did everything go to shit for Hannah Baker?
When did the world stop believing in her?
A sweet girl like her didn't deserve this.
"Jensen!" He snapped back to reality. "I've been calling your name for the past three minutes now! Dozing off, again?" Mrs. Bradley asks.

"I'm sorry..." Clay shyly says as the rest of the class laughed. The bell rings and everyone is rushing out of class. "Clay, i'd like to speak to you please." She said. Clay looked down after nodding. "Sure."

"I have been noticing that you seem to be really affected with Hannah's death." She said as she looked through binders. "If you want to talk about it-" "No, really, i'm fine." He then dashed out of the classroom with tears in his eyes.

He ran to the boys washroom, knocking into Bryce. "Hey, Jensen! Wanna come to this party I got going on tonight?" Bryce asked. "Yeah sure, whatever...." Clay said as he finally made it to the bathroom stalls.

He let all of his feelings out. His face was getting red from all the crying. I just want her back....is that too much to ask for? He thought. None of the teachers would understand.

After school Clay goes back home and sees his old helmet. Helmet...it was one of his famous nicknames.

"Clay, someone's here to see you." His mother hollered. Clay ran down the stairs and saw Y/N standing there. "Hey Clay, you dropped your books. Also, Mrs. Bradley paired me up with you for a project, remember?" Y/N asks.

Clay nods. "Yeah, sure." He always got shy around Y/N. She was the girl he liked. "Let's go up to my room." Clay said and lead Y/N to his room. "Wow. Are you like a big nerd or something?" She said looking at the posters up on his wall.

"Yeah, guess you could say that." He chuckles. His blue eyes met with her e/c eyes. "Um...Y/N do you want to go watch a movie tonight?" Clay asked. "So, by movie you mean watch a weird nerd movie? Sounds cool. I'm in." Y/N laughs.
