Origins of Reshikrom

Land of Dragons

Long ago in Ancient Unova lived 3 legendary dragons: Zekrom, the dragon god of thunder, Reshiram, the dragon god of fire, and Kyurem, the dragon god of balance. One day, Kyurem wanted to build a dragon sanctuary, but it could not do this alone. Therefore the legendary dragon of balance and its accomplices turned to its creator: The god of gods, Arceus. The 3 dragons discussed their idea with the great Pokemon god, and the request was granted. In a matter of days, a vast, wonderous land was created. Dragons from all over the world came and resided in the forsaken land.  With this new land, Kyurem declared itself the king of the land, and Reshiram and Zekrom became its knights. Kyurem also appointed several more dragon gods to watch over parts of the land. Some of these guardians included Dialga, the dragon god of time, Palkia, the dragon god of space, Giratina, the dragon god of dimentions, Rayquaza, the dragon god of the skies, and Zygarde, the dragon god of the forest. The god of balance borrowed power from either one of the knights to fend off unwanted visitors by fusing themselves. If a speedy opponent intruded the land, Kyurem fused with Reshiram to become White Kyurem, and if a more clever, strategical opponent intruded, Kyurem fused with Zekrom to become Black Kyurem. For the longest time, the mythical Land of Dragons was at peace.
