Picture is of Jackson
With this being my first wattpad story I'm a little apprehensive to see the sort of response it gets from you guys and if you like it so far I will continue.

As Jackson rounded the corner of the hallway, he had no time to stop before he ran into principal of his large highschool. As he tumbled to the ground, he caught his unplanned stumble before face planting into the cold, dirty menolium. He looked at his short, almost dwarf like administrator to see him completely unfazed by the wet student lying on the hallway floor.

"Go dry yourself off Davis", he said before tossing a key to the floor next to me. Which I could only assume unlocked the towel room, which was hidden within the gymnasium.

"I'm sor..", before I could finish the apology I was silenced by the raised hand of the principle, which gave another scowl with his thin lips, and bushy eyebrows before trudging down the hallway.

Man, for such a small guy he sure did intimidate me. I pushed myself up into the standing posititon before picking up the wet key the result of being submerged in the rain water, which I had been so gracious to leave a puddle of, in the middle of the hallway before leaving the scene of the confrontation with the stout man.

I had decided to lead myself towards the gymnasium to access the towel room. My nikes squeaked every time I twisted to turn a corner, the sound echoing down the hallways. I thought about the class periods I had missed after sleeping in a little later than I should have.

Would there be any homework? I'd have no idea until I asked webber, the strange thing about our friendship though is that at school, we came as a package deal. We would let each other copy homework, lend money, and even one year we ditched our prom dates to drink behind the school, which had led to a nasty confrontation with the principle. There was only one thing I could think of that was bizzare about our friendship, is that never once have I hung out with him outside of school.

After, finishing that thought I found myself standing before the gymnasium doors, only to get slight glimpses of students running by the entrance. I pushed open the door which would open up to the least enjoyed part of my day, the cold metal of the door sent a unexpected roll of shivers down my spine. I slid in the door unnoticed by the teacher talking to a boy I had never seen before. But without thinking to much about it I slipped into the locker room, my feet pattering down the long row of tiles before coming to a stop before the door to which I had been given the key to.

"Wow, they need to get some febreeze in here," I thought outloud before pulling the relic like key out of my pocket. I turned it to the side, before pushing forward and getting it lodged on my first try. I turned the lock to the right before twisting the knob which turned an 1/2 inch before being stop by the failure of turning the key the wrong way. I turned it to the left but as I did, I heard the crack of the only way of accessing the room, breaking within the locked knob.

With "shit," as my response, I sighed in frustration. I stormed back into the gym only to get caught by the teacher beckoning me to the middle of the class.
