Keith was by the beach.Listening to the sound of the waves rushing onto the shore and receeding back off the sandy beach."So beautiful.."he mumbled to himself.Then everything darkened it was just a vision of his once beautiful home.But now he is a paladin of Voltron , no need for family nor love.He sighs before The alarms started to ring signaling Zarkon was attaking. He quickly ran to the hangers and puts his suit on grabbing his bayard.The lions roared as they hopped into their lions."Keith and Lance you take the fleet over there while me and Hunk defend the castel!" Shiro yells over the intercom they all went to their positions quickly.Lance started to shoot as Keith dodged the lazer beams from the Galra fleet."Keith watch it you almost smacked into me!"he growls over the intercom as Keith chuckles a bit "I ran into you because your ego blinded me"he says nonchalant."Shut up mullet head your just jealous of my beauty!" he shoots down more of the Galra ships. "Lance If you don't stop i'll-"his voice cuts off as a Galra ship blasts his lion."Keith!!" everyone said and began to worry hearing curses from Lance while nothing was heard from Keith."Lance protect Keith!"Shiro's voice hinted he was also worried but was trying to keep calm.
-Skip To After The Battle-
Lance's lion carried Keith's lion down into the hangers while everyone hurried to land their lions and get out to check on Keith. Everyone ran over to the once lively red lion.They opened the lions mouth and walked into the cabin seeing Keith smashed into his dashboard.His helmet was cracked,the glass cutting into his face blood dripping everywhere.
