Okay party decorations check,
Birthday cake check,
Now all I have to do is buy some food
I enter the pizza shop to order some pizza.
"Hello sir what would you like?" The cashier said.
Shit I don't know how many people are coming
"Um give me 6 large pizzas" I said.
I paid for the pizza and sat down at a table.
I went on my phone for a couple of minutes until I heard my name being called.
"Auston?"
I looked up and saw the one person I hoped I would never see again.
"Alice Milone?!" I said.
"Hey Auston" she said coming up to me and giving me a hug.
Alice Milone aka my ex girlfriend aka my first girlfriend aka the girl that I used to love aka the girl that I lost my virginity to aka my first heartbreak
"How are you?" I asked trying to make a conversation.
"Wonderful!! You?"
"Great!" I said. "So what are you doing here in Toronto?"
"My friend invited me here, I met her over the summer. I'm actually staying at her place for a couple of months since i'm taking classes here".
"Cool" I awkwardly said.
"6 pizzas for Auston Matthews!" The cashier yelled.
I grabbed the pizzas and looked back at Alice.
She looked at me then at the 6 pizza boxes then back at me.
"I'm having a party" I said as she understood.
"Well I should go" I said.
"Hope to see you again sometime" she said.
"Well bye" I waved as I walked out of the pizza shop.
My phone immediately starts to ring.
"Hello" I answered.
"Auston where are you?? Jamie just texted me, they're are coming in less than 10 minutes!! Come quick!!" Steph said quickly hanging up after.
I put my phone in my pocket and fast walked home.

"Coming!" I yelled.
I opened the door to reveal everyone on the team.
"Hey guys come in" I said.
"Where are the birthday twins?" Connor asked me.
"They're on their way" I answered as I closed the door.
"Well make yourselves comfortable" I offered.
Moments later the front door opens to reveal Auston with 6 boxes of pizza.
"Here" he handed me all the boxes.
"What took you so long?" I asked him.
"Well I kinda bumped into someone in the pizza shop" he said rubbing the sweat off his forehead.
"Well put up the decorations they could be here in any second" I said as Auston did.
Auston puts up blows up balloons and hangs the birthday decorations.
We later hear the front door open, Mitch and Jamie walk through.
"SURPRISE!!" Everyone yelled.
Mitch and Jamie stood there pretending to be shocked.
"Well don't just stand there, it's time to party!!"
