Catching Up

"Hello darkness my oooooold frieeend..." I am falling. Falling straight down into nothingness. Probably nothing can save me now. I will just fall until I hit the bottom. Wait, does "nothingness" have a bottom? I don't know... Well, if it does, then I will hit it. This is just the perfect way to end my day, huh? You are probably wondering "What happened?" so since I think I have the time, I will tell you everything.

It was nineteen years ago...

A woman was giving birth to a very handsome baby boy. She named him Chase. He was healthy and- I am kidding! I am not going to go through my ENTIRE life. But yeah, I am Chase_Manhart01, and I am the main protagonist of this story. Nice to meet you! Now to the juicy bits.

As some may know, I am a member of Team Sheep. Those who aren't in TS (Team Sheep) won't know the kind of bond that we have. There are few members of TS; only four in total. There is me, Nograad, Playeverything, and Sheepskater. We all met each other on a Discord server for a YouTuber that goes by the alias of "Luda." After we got to know each other for a while, we developed a bond that was akin to siblings (at least I had those bonds with them). We gave ourselves titles: Sheep "The Artist", Nograad "The Writer", Chase "The Hunter" and Play "The Musician" which were all based on stuff we liked and were good at. We all had each other's backs whenever they needed it and would support each other in whatever way we could.

Of course, given that our entire relationship was over the Internet, I wanted to meet them in person, and I discussed this dream several times. The problem with this is the fact that we all live far away from each other. Sheep lives in California; I live in Kentucky; Nograad and Play live across the "Pond" in Europe. So, in theory, the middle point would be somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. We could either meet in England or in New York or somewhere near there. Of course, that would imply that we COULD do it. After... something happened, we no longer had the option to choose a hangout spot to all meet at. We would meet at Luda's HQ in the Netherlands.

"Why did we have to go to the Netherlands?" you ask? Well hold your dang horses! I am getting there.

It was just a normal April morning when Luda sent out the call for action. Apparently, the entire Google Inc. was just used to fund a global cyber-attack. This cyber-attack was the spark that started the fire that could become World War III. Luda didn't want to see another war, so he called his followers into action. Naturally, not many people responded; However, a large portion of his original followers did.

It took a total of three days to get everyone together. Luda and his girlfriend Melon were taking role on the third day: "Pastry, Lion, Star, Sheep, Chase, Play, Nograad, Night. You're all here right?"

"Yep, we are all here. But what the hell are we supposed to do?" Lion said.

"You might not be prepared for what I am about to suggest, but we are going to break into Google HQ and shut down their servers. If we can do that, it might stop this war from happening." Luda explained.

"Y-you want us to break into Google..." Nograad said hesitantly.

We all exchanged looks of confusion and nodded along with Nograad's statement.

"We will do it with 4 tactical teams. Me and Melon will be a distraction at the front door. Everyone else will infiltrate through the fire escape during the ruckus we cause. There are 2 different locations where the main "motherboard" server may be. The second floor is the first speculated location, and that is the floor that Team One -Lion and Pastry- will go to." Luda explained in detail.

"Wait, me and Lion are working together?" Pastry asked

"Yes, you two have a close history" Luda said, then continued. "The third floor is the second speculated location, and this is where Team Two -Night and Star- will go. You and Team One will do the same thing; comb the floor and shut down any server you see."
