Like air breathed and
heart awakened
Leaves fallen, crumpled and torn, fading to soil
fingers of earth bursting in life.
Like tides that bring abyss secrets,
glass rolled in sand and smoothed with salt.
Like elderly kisses and
embering scrapbooks
scraped kneed memories of when
the world fit into a mantle's frame.
Like crushed perplexed abandoned
Struck down
But not destroyed
is the braid of faith
The rope
Eternal
The You and the me
Oh sweet and scary intersection!
Faith that comforts and
Faith that disrupts
Thunder and seedling
Tornado and sunset
Personal mystery
I
Find You
In the heart beating and letting go
And life feather-drifting
to a place I cannot hold onto it
while I am left bare clothed in grace
