The sunshine peeks through the curtains and onto my face and bare back. It's been a whole two months since high school ended, that meant I have been working full time for two months. And the idea of being on my own is so much different that expected, it's overbearing and tiring.
I stand from my bed allowing my feet to touch the cold wooded floor, my new apartment, quite and alone. What I would do for my brother back to make the house livelier, even if I use to wish to get away from him. I walk over to my wardrobe and slide on my black skinny jeans slowly, and the shirt with the tag labeled "Jonathan".
I walk through the door and into the lounge taking a look into Manchester, seeing the not to long ago sleeping city come alive with the scurrying civilians heading to work. I walked to the counter top and stretched as I get my morning tea brew ready.
As I sit on the basic plan couch that still manages to add aesthetic to the lounge despite its simplicity, I feel slight nostalgia can't coming over me to sit every morning with my brother.
But I didn't mind being away from my parents, they were glad of me to leave anyway, I guess I just was not the child who have them complete satisfaction.
I slipped on my black, semi-worn out converse and began ready to leave for work. I opened my apartment door and breathed in the crisp morning air as I set foot out ready for the small walk to work.
Ahhh so opinions appreciated and this chapter was short on purpose so to everyone have a great day.
