My phone beeps indicating a new message, waking me up from my deep slumber. Ugghh... I really hate early mornings. I open my phone and find out that it is a message from my best friend - Cassandra Silva.
Cassy (8:00 am)- Nessa, get ready to workout! I'll be at your place in 10.
Me (8:01 am)- Sure ;)
I quickly jump out of my bed as I'm over excited to go to the gym. I am a gym enthusiast. I workout at any time and by any i mean literally 'any'. I can spend my whole day at the gym. I can also give up a holiday in Hawaii to spend time at the gym. GYM is Life. WORKOUT is BAE.
I jump in the shower. The water is so nice.... so warm. I get out of the shower and put on my gym clothes and hear the sound of Cassy's car and go running downstairs towards her.
"Hey gummy bear", she greets me.
Good morning sweetie pie"
"I won't be able to attend college today as I have a relative's wedding to attend" , she says pulling out of my driveway.
" Oh, great! Enjoy yourself ", I respond, wishing that I could also skip classes.
Both of us go to the same university in Canada. We have been bestfriends since primary school. We used to live in Goa, India until our families moved to Canada 5 years back.
Both my parents are journalists, so they spend most of their time overseas. I spend most of the time at Cassy's when my parents are out on their trips or both of us have sleepovers at mine along with our other friends since there is no one to disturb us here, I have no siblings. I just have Tarzan always by my side. Oh, so you must be wondering who is Tarzan?.... I forgot to mention that he is the love of my life, my only companion, my everything, my pet, my DOG... Tarzan!
We reach the Gym and were shocked to see.......
