"Why are you being like this? Do you understand my feelings? You don't, I'm a basic human being but you're not. Minjung, you're the popular girl so leave me alone. You don't understand my feelings for him, and you have him. You have Choi Youngjae, he is your boyfriend and I'm not even trying to steal him away from you, use your fucking brain and think about it. I'm leaving, move," Areum's strong use of words surprised Minjung who just stood there when Areum pushed her and walked away.

Areum, a basic girl who has a crush on a basic boy. I guess, being Minjung's boyfriend makes him special but really, he is basic. Simple. He's not a guy everyone has a crush on, he's not a bad boy, he's not super smart, neither is he bad at school. He's an average boy.

But Areum, she's been having a crush on him since the year started and now it's almost the end, she doesn't know anymore. He loves Minjung, and Minjung, she isn't a bad girl either. She isn't a slut, isn't a hoe. She loves Youngjae back. Guys have a crush on her but she has a nice personality, she doesn't fake it. She really does have a nice personality, while Areum... well, Areum has a strong piece of mind which makes her use of words very rude.

"But Areum, you don't understand! You must know that she fears you will take her boyfriend away from her, it's not like you've never seen the way he looks at you, and I know that you're not trying to steal Youngjae away from Minjung but," Kunpimook said and Areum looked at him. He understands everyone's feelings. And he knows just how much Areum loves Youngjae and he knows that Areum really is not trying to take him away from Minjung.

"What do I not understand? The way he looks at me is the exact same way as he looks at everyone else, and Mook, you know him better than me and you know that he will never date me or leave his girlfriend," Areum argued back because Youngjae is really the perfect boyfriend. He'd never leave Minjung or cheat on her for Areum

"Reum, you know you might be basic but that's only because Minjung is in our school, without her, you'll definitely be one of the prettiest," Kunpimook looked at Areum right in the eyes and it was a look full of trust. That look made Areum believe him for a second until she realised, Kunpimook is her best friend. Of course, he will lie to her to make her feel better because it's not the first time.

"Thanks, Mook, but you know my rude use of words create bad impressions and Youngjae has heard me swear many times, it's not good Mook. It really isn't," Areum sighed and Kunpimook patted her back.

"If you stop swearing and he suddenly likes you, he's not accepting the true you. Don't ever change yourself for someone you like because everybody is unique and you, Areum. You are the most important person in my life, that makes you even more special," Kunpimook laughed and Areum smacked his arm.

"Yah! Kunpimook," Areum suddenly got serious. "What if I told you, I never liked Youngjae but I like you?"

Kunpimook's eyes narrowed, "Areum, this isn't funny." Kunpimook never thought about his best friend having a crush on him because mostly, who thinks their crush will like them back.

He likes Areum, but he has to completely ignore his feelings just to give Areum advice and, he wants Areum to be happy.

"Fine, but Kunpimook, you never tell me anything about your crush. Well, you do talk about her, but you've never told me her name, come on Mook. Am I not your best friend?" Areum said jokingly, not expecting Kunpimook to actually tell her.

"Do you really want to know?" Kunpimook was ready to tell her if she really wanted to know because so what if she doesn't like him back? It's not like his world is going to end.

"Oh my god, Mook! Are you going to tell me? Fuck, I'm so ready for this and yes! Please, I really want to know," Areum sat up straight and looked at Kunpimook with her puppy eyes.
