Firstly, it's all about your character. When you have a good, realistic character, you have a higher chance of winning.

I've participated in over twenty selections (on pinterest mostly), and I have learned many things by observing the actions of others.

Here is what people hosting a selection don't like to see.

Ex.

- Name: Rebecca Hulionifghakbdjbu
- Caste: 2 (model)
- Personality: Loves everyone, happy, shy, sad easily
- Talents: drawing, painting

Now, that was just an example. Let me explain these. Don't have a character with a super weird last name, like how many people have a awkward last name?

The Castes. I always see either a two or a seven. This is completely fine, but make sure your character has a story to support it, don't just say it!

Personality. Make sure your character isn't perfect. Many of my characters have a jealousy trait, which I make sure to put. If you have a model, she might have a higher chance her of being a snob. If you have a seven, you might want her to be greedy (since they don't get much).

Talents. Holy moly, this is probably the worst one. If your character can draw and paint, make sure that you don't add singing and playing the violin to that list later on. If your character is a model, she has a very low chance of being able to play the guitar or something. Same goes for if your character was a seven. If your character is a seven, they probably don't know first aid. Don't make your charger perfect! I could literally go on and on about this subject, but I'll stop here.

Don't make your character faceclaim someone common (ex. Dove Cameron, Victoria Justice, etc. ). I see this so often. Make sure you take some time to find someone different.

Anyways, that is all for now. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.
