The Only Exception

Chapter Four: I Really Don't Care

Even in our class, I can't stop thinking about what happen in lunch time. I feel so distracted today.

And the people we encounter won't stop whispering as we pass by.

Weird. This never happen to me ussually. I mean it's usually giggles and staring from girls.

After class, Andre and Robbie came to me.

"Hey Beck, I heard some legit rumors about you and Jade. Did something interesting happen?" Andre ask as l try to ignore the whispers near my locker.

"It's just so weird how Jade did that you, I mean It kinda looks like he's messing up with your relationship with Tori, right?" Robbie said added.

"I know, Jade is just messing up with me but why everybody is making this a big deal anyway?" I said when we were walking to Tori's class.

"Everybody thought that after she kiss you, on the lip, you actually enjoyed what just happen." Andre said.

"And you were cheating Tori over Jade." Robbie added.

"You know that's not true. I did not enjoy what just happen, She's ruining my day." I sight.

"You should really not mess with her at the beginning to begin with because that is just the beginning of your suffering." Robbie quoted.

"What do you mean only the beginning?" I asked.

"Well as far I know when you mess with her, It would be either physical or mentally and far more worst, she's not going to stop until she likes to see you suffer." He said while I'm amaze about her. Not bad for a girl who wants what she wants.

"I heard that's the reason why Sinjin didn't go to school last year for a whole month because she run over him with a car just because of Sinjin didn't bring Jade what she wants. Because they had a deal in the parking lot and Jade got tense so... that's pretty much what happen to him." Andre replied it while he was memorizing some lines.

"How serious are you memorizing that line?" I jokingly suggested when Robbie look at the paper.

"It's nearly five sentences, It's easy to memorize them." Robbie whined.

"Don't judge it, and I'm dead serious about this and there is nothing I couldn't care more than your problem, Beck." Andre said sarcastically.

Like I even care about his problem. He's lucky I'm helping him. It's like its not the first time we help each other since like, forever.

I just stare at him and I said, "Take it easy and calm down, you'll do great.." then Andre cut me off

"Calm down? How can I calm down. I need this so badly." he snapped. How badly does he wants it?

"Okay, fine, it's not like it depends on your future anyway." Robbie added.

Again, unbelievable that everybody is getting excited or nervous in the play. I think I'm the only one who is not excited nor nervous about it. I just want to get this thing over.

When were heading for our next class, I just saw Robbie headed toward to Cat and they started talking.

"Is Robbie is doing what I think he's doing?" Andre asked.

"Talking to a girl? That's is in fact weird." I reply.

"I got some bad news and good news to you, Beck." Robbie said worrying as he got back from us.

"Well, let's hear it then." Andre said excitedly.

"The good news first." I clarified.

"The good news is Jade is not mad about you anymore." he said happily.
