I laid in my bed Softly as I started Closing my eyes And instantly Falling asleep

Around Midnight I heard scratching on My Door
I opened My eyes and Groaned and Ignored It thinking it was probably just My Dog
I though to myself

And slowly falling asleep Again Ignoring the scratching sounds

After A few Hours a Woke Up again With a sudden Realization

"My dog Died a Month ago..."

I quickly Looked At My bedroom Door
And saw it wide Open.
