It was a beautiful morning down in the peaceful world of Zerath, small birds chirped happily as the warmth of the multi-coloured sun washed down on them. A large, violet Dragon made his way past the swishing sea of light green grass to the gaping mouth of a cave. A damp smell poured into his crusty nostrils, and the Dragon's piercing amber eyes narrowed throught the cool darkness of the cavern. With a cautious huff and a swish of his massive, spiked tail, the Violet dragon made his way into the narrow, twisted cavern's halls. The pitter-patter of little waterdrops falling from the rocky ceiling rang in the Dragon's ears, he made his way past low-hanging rocks and small puddles of lightly glowing liquid. Soon, the scaly monster veered towards three, large crystal boulders. The crystals shone a light turquoise, the ridged edges tipped with purple. A growl rose from the Dragon's smooth throat as his long, grey claw poked one of the multi coloured crystals, a pierce of coolness ran up his arm and down his spine. The dragon's amber eyes blinked and he softly bellowed "I call down the ancestors of Draco, the deceased families of Monstrai and the young of Still-Hallows. Show me a sign of the deathly quiet in our world, show me the thoughts on your free minds. Let the crystals of silent thoughts bring me to your world!" With that, the multi-coloured crystals began to glow a more vibrant turquoise, the shadowed silhouettes of many different monster species danced around, showing their pasts and the causes of their death. The amber-eyed Basilisk felt exhaustion nip at his ridged skin, soon enough his head was resting on the damp ground.
"Aura'Snap, welcome to Still-Hallows. " A voice echoed, the Violet dragon, presumably Aura'Snap, lifted his grey tinged snout to an odd, starry animal. Her eyes were a piercing blue and feathers rose around her face like that of a Lion's mane. The feathers ran down her neck until where her body started, it ended with long, well-groomed fur. She had a short beak with visible signs of age with many scar's lining it. Her beak was a dull yellow with even duller orange, long arms protruded from two sides of her body close to her neck. She held a neutral stare as her long, cat-like legs and paws kicked up a small swirl of dust. "Velit." Aura'Snap dipped his head in respect for the deceased creature. "You have come here for a sign, no?" Velit had a heavy Russian accent, luckily the place she now lived in forced her accent to waver, making it lower and more.. understandable, you could say. Aura'Snap shrugged and admitted "Ehh, I guess I am. The Golden-Bank habitants have been saying they saw sea monsters of wood moving through the sea without any limbs." Velit narrowed her eyes, a sigh escaped her stubby beak. "I know you wish to know what troubles are coming our way..." She started, Aura'Snap broke in "So there IS something bad that is happening." The bird-like creature nodded, she continued reluctantly "You may not wish to know, but according to the Still-Hallows code, all deceased members must tell the Vision-Teller of a danger, even if it could crush them.." Her eyes closed and in a bright flash, the starry world vanished in a blue and turquoise swirl. Aura'Snap could feel his legs getting weak with worry and anticipation, fear of what the vision could be gnawing at his stomach, mixing with the nauseating twirling of the world before him. Soon, the violet dragon's eyes spotted the golden-yellow banks of the Celestian Sea, a beautiful body of water actually. Aura'Snap gulped as the huge wooden sea monsters, a close resemblance to the words of the Golden-Bank residents, made their way to the bank. Words drifted through the Vision-Teller's ears. "Creatures of colourful pelts will rain down on the land of Zerath..." The voice paused, allowing Aura'Snap to put his full attention on the scene unfolding before his very eyes. Colourful pelted animals screeched a battle cry, leaping off of the unmoving sea monsters with huge, polished sticks of metal that looked sharp enough to break the armour of an Ankylosaurus. (Yes, there were a few dinosaurs on this huge island.) . More and more wooden sea monsters appeared, bringing huge batches of 50 multi coloured creatures. Small monsters and birds fled off, some unlucky enough to get caught by the greedy creatures with flat faces. Large, hard nets were flung at some of the monsters, catching them in mid run or even in mid air. Two large Zenolophosus, herbivorous monsters that resemble a Parasaurolophus mixed with a small dragon, bellowed in blood/curdling fear as one of the brightly coloured monsters pulled out a long, steel stick with a deep hole on the front. The creature held the odd object up to his eye, pointing at the male Zenolophosus and pulling a metal trigger. *BAM*. Blood spilt onto the sandy beaches, a gruesome gash on the innocent monster's shoulder made it cry out in such agony that you would want to reach out and comfort it as if it was a small child. Aura'Snap whimpered in fear as the monster fell to the ground, the murderous killer yowling in victory and pointing the metal stick towards the female who's stomach was rippling with signs of pregnancy. The male dragon couldn't watch, he sighed when the chilling voice continued "..The greedy monsters will cause great destruction to the once peaceful land.." The voice continued " But amongst the ash and blood, when the enemyseemed to have won, five monsters will rise. United by faith and sent on a journey that will decide Zeraths fate" A cool breeze swept over Aura's muzzle, he felt hope rising inside. "A cool nights breeze, a blooming flower, the pounce of a leopard, a rising sun and a brave stork will come together to save the land of Zerath. Friendships will be formed, trust will be broken and memories will be shattered. But in the end, the power of hope and Still'Hollows might will push these young'un's until they find the answer to Zeraths survival." Soon enough, Aura'Snap found himself resting near the turquoise crystals. His mind swirled with questions that might never be answered. 'How Wierd' the monster thought, his spectacles still reflecting the chilling vision.
It was not long until Aura'Snap made his way to his cave, a cool one much like the Vision'Tellers cave though it was illuminated with a bright fire. The old Dragon let out a sigh as he settled down on his comfy moss bed, his claws were still digging into the soft dirt in anxiety. What would happen to his precious home? What if the five hero's never came? What if those monsters... whatever they were called... won? Fear and frustration made Aura'Snap leap out of his bed and roar " Great Hallows, help me!" . His own rage made the purple Dragon huff in alarm, he was never this angry! 'The five will come' He reassured himself, by dear chance he was correct. For some wheres in the land of Zerath, somewheres in a cozy nest, burrow, log, mound and den...
