1 || The Kiss

Before we get started I would just like to say as this is only my second fanfic it would really mean a lot if you could read it and give me some feedback. I have seen someone else do Raura fan fiction before and the one I read is truely incredible. I'll leave the name at the end.
Okay before we start, the majority of the text will be written from Ross' POV, unless it says otherwise.
Okay let's gooooo...

As I slowly wake up I look to the clock and see the time.. 8:00! 8:00! I frantically jump to my feet and rush into the bathroom. It's a Monday morning and the table read for the new script starts at 8:30 I can't be late! And in this time I have to: Have a shower, brush my teeth, get dressed and eat. "Why are you thinking about all of this Ross?" I think to myself "don't think just do" after this I quickly threw on a pair of ripped jeans, a random top I found in my wardrobe and off I headed down to the set.

It was like every weekly table read really, scripts laid out on the table, same seats, I was sat next to Laura and Calum. As I went to sit down something felt different, it wasn't that I had a different chair, or even that people had switched places something mentally felt strange.

After a good few hours spend on the script and also have them announce this as the last episode of season 3 I head back to my room and read through the last few scenes that we didn't cover. As I read through the last scene my heart seemed to drop and rise at the same time, there was a kiss, not just any kiss, a make out, with Laura. I know I love her and all that but like I'm not sure what it's going to be like, I mean I have a crush on her and I'm pretty sure she likes me too. As soon as all of this crosses my mind I receive a text from Laura saying:

Laura: Just read the whole script, great series finale.
Ross: Yeah. Did you see the bit?
Laura: Yes I did, and that's why I am texting you right now.
Laura: I don't really feel comfortable jumping straight into it in front of a live audience, anyway we could "practise" before the actual thing so it's less awkward?
Did the Laura Marano just ask if she could practise making out with me?!?!
Ross: Yeah go for it.
Laura: Okay, where and when.
Ross: Filming starts Wednesday, come to my dressing room in 10.
Laura: Okay. Thank you for being so cool with this Ross, cya in 10.

I turn my phone off and collapse on my bed for a minute. "What do I do, or say, do you think this is her first kiss, or her first make out?" I was so goddamn nervous that time flew and before I knew it I heard a knock on my door. I open the door and let her in.

"Hey Ross" she says whilst placing her bags down.
"Hey" I reply patting the bed next to me.
As she goes to sit down I blurt something out very quickly under my breath
"Is this your first kiss?"
She sits in silence for a minute and then replies
"Yeah, that's why I wanted to practise first, I dont know what to do."
"Well I'm sure you have some idea" I reply with a smirk on my face.
"Shall we gets this over and done with now?" I ask.
"Sure" She replied.
As her lips press against mine it felt like all the pain in the world had suddenly faded away, like there was no other girl in the world who could make me feel like this.

Before I know it she pulls away and asks "How was that?"
"Uhh.. good" I reply trying not to sound too weird.
"How about we try just once more so I really get the hang of it" she asks.

So as I said at the beginning the reason I wanted to make this fanfic is because of another one I read and was and still am obsessed with, I can't remember who wrote it but as soon and I do I'll add it in here. It was by rydelly_belly and was called " A little unsteady".Anyways I hope you enjoyed this chapter it will get better as the story progresses trust me. I will be adding chapters every Friday so stay tuned.
