I found you on that island

Chapter 1

It was summer. Lola, Jane and I wanted to do something exciting this summer. We just finished 7th grade. It felt really good, we all felt so grown up. Lola and Jane were two of my best friends, I met them in 5th grade. We were pretty crazy and we always had a lot of fun.

We sat near a lake and discussed what we could do the next few weeks. The most ideas were not that fun and almost a little bit boring but then Lola pulled out her phone to do some research on "fun things to do in summer when you have to hang with two dumbasses". She read that out loud and Jane throw a stone at her. We laughed and she deleted the common part. There weren't a lot of things that took place in our city. We clicked at the few that looked kind of interesting. After 5 minutes I said "we'll never find so..." "Aha! Here is something", Lola said. She found a list of "99 things you HAVE to do in the summer"
On the list were a lot of fun little things like an action painting game were you can be "creative and artsy". But these things weren't enough for us. We wanted to do something special.
Then right at the bottom was a text that said "Holiday-camp for kids and teens". "That sounds interesting", said Jane.

We went home and did some more research and asked our parents if we could go. My mother was willing to pay that immediately because she wanted me to do more stuff outside, like every mother wants her child to do.
Lola's parents also allowed her do go. She had to convince them but it worked. Jane's mom is divorced and doesn't earn that much money so we all had to convince her to pay this trip.
At the end of the day we were all happy and already very excited. The camp was going to be located on an island near our country and it was organized by our school as we found out later. In one week the trip was about to start.
The time flew by and it was already just one day until we would start.
A bus picked up everyone including us and five teamer. They were called Creek(32), Claudia(25), Lisa(15) and Henriette(17). No one of us knew them...yet.
