Dear adventure journal

Dirk was hanging out with Jake,you know as usual. This time it was kind of different because Dirk agreed to take Jake to McDonald's sense they we're both hungry. Dirk wouldn't really call this a "date" but it's the closest he can get to one right now. He still hasn't admitted feelings for Jake yet, but he wants to, but he's afraid if he'll ruin his friendship with the adventure boy. I mean, it's Dirk and Jake. Jake and Dirk. They can never be separated because they're that close. They have a really strong friendship and Dirk would hate to ruin their friendship by telling Jake how he felt. But he had to... Now or never. He looked next to him and saw Jake eating his fries and flipping through pages of some sort of..journal? "Adventure journal" it said on the front. Dirk scooted a bit closer so he can see what Jake wrote in there. Heck if he was lucky,he might even see some anime stuff in there. Nope,no anime. But he did see his name a lot of times in the book. Jake must really think about him.. Maybe?.. No.. No he's just friends with him.. Nothing homo. Jake continued to eat while flipping through pages of his adventure journal. He finally found a blank page of the book and grabbed a pencil. He started writing in his adventure journal while Dirk scooted to him again hoping he wouldn't realize it. Thankfully Jake didn't and kept writing in his journal. He started it off with,"dear adventure journal" and went on about this adventure about going in a cave and exploring it and having such a jolly good time in there. He talked about how he found a skull in the cave he explored and his theory that there might be an animal in there that's very powerful and that might be the one who killed the animal he found the skull to. He finally ended his story and had no more adventures left to write,so to finish it off he wrote,"So yeah.. Everything is fine.. Everything is just fine -Jake English." Dirk quickly scooted back to his seat awkwardly and acted like he was eating his food the whole time. Jake closed his journal and looked at Dirk,who was eating his burger. "Thanks for taking me here strider! The food here is really good!" Said Jake in a really happy and smiling way. "No problem Jake!" Said Dirk with a slightly full mouth. Jake chuckled a bit and continued to eat his food. Dirk finished his food first and asked Jake if he wanted desert. "Oh sure strider! Can I get a ice cream cone?" "Sure Jake" said Dirk while getting up and getting the cone for Jake. Jake finished his food and cleaned up and went with Dirk. "Here you go English" said Dirk as he gave him his I've cream cone. "Thanks Strider!" Jake said smiling in that cute way he does. "Oh lord his smile.." Dirk thought. "His cute smile.. His cute smile with his adorable face and amazing green eyes.. Ah I love him.. Wait no no you can't be thinking like this.. Your already in love with him but you just don't know how to admit something like that. Your a strider, you should be able to do this without embarrassing yourself.. Should I do it now? Crap crap crap.. Umm.. Maybe later" The strider thought. "Hey Jake, ready to go?" The strider said, gaining the confidence he needed. He was panicking a bit inside but tried his best not to show it. "Oh ok Dirk! Let's go then!" He said, his smile still bright and eyes still the green color Dirk loved. Dirk blushes slightly and said,"alright then" while opening the door for Jake. "Thanks o'l chap for the food and ice cream!" Jake said. "No problem Jake!" Dirk said leading himself to his car. He sat himself in the drivers seat. "Alright.. You got this.. You got this.. Breathe breathe.. It's Ganna be ok.. He might feel the same.. You never know strider you never know.." He thought before saying,"hey Jake?"
