I haven't been in the mood to write the sequel to this book when I have the time, which is very unfair to you guys because you seemed to love this book from the very beginning. I wrote this book when I was about sixteen or seventeen, and last revised it about two years ago. I was still on and off with this book, wanting to write The Wrong Family since it was something different, but I lost sight of this one and had writers block more often than not, which is why I decided all my books will have major updates to them so that this doesn't potentially happen again because I have more works in progress I can't wait for you to read.
If you're still here with me of course 😅 .
This book has been needing some revision for a while now, which is why I cringed a lot while redoing just the first chapter, but it shouldn't be too different from what you guys remember. I will say I'm making the chapters a bit longer and adding more content and details along the way, but that's about it besides fixing any mistakes I had. I had high hopes for this book and it seems to still be doing well, but if I have any vision for it having a third part like I did before, this needed to be done.
Feel free to seek the changes I've made because I will be publishing them as I go, and I'm sorry in advance for all the notifications you'll get if you don't want to reread it. Thank you guys so much for your ongoing support and I promise to never disappoint like this again.
Over two years without any updates ???? What was I thinking ? 😅🥴

Dang It.
Closing the car door, I shift the strap to my makeup bag so that it sits more comfortably on my shoulder, and then reach down to grab my keys that had fallen as I got out of the car. I bend down and feel for them as best as I can while trying not to lean over too far over and drop more things. Getting a firm grip on one of the keys, I let out a light sigh and stand to my feet, straightening my posture in the process.
I double check in my head to make sure I'm not forgetting anything, and then head towards the front door of the tall glass building. I swing the door open and beeline over to the elevator, pressing the top button with the up arrow icon. I impatiently wait for the elevator doors to open before I step inside and press the button to take me up to the fifth floor.
Shoot, did I lock my car door?
I sigh once more, knowing my day couldn't get any worse today, before pulling my keys from my purse. I turn clockwise on my heels, looking out into the parking lot, before I press the lock button a couple of times. I notice the headlights flash, indicating the doors are now locked, soon as the elevator door opens.
