House of Anubis-Nina Returns

Chapter 1

I couldn't return back to the Anubis house last year because of everything that had occurred the last time I was there. It wasn't safe for me to return. I never felt safe there with everything going on and since we solved the mystery there wasn't a need for me to be there anymore. I have missed everyone so much, especially Fabian. The last I heard from him he was doing fine in school and everything was branching out well for him. Amber notified me that he had been seeing other people, which was fine with me because I of course was seeing other people as well back in America.

Being back here at the Anubis house feels so weird and strangely different. Something definitely wasn't the same here. I slowly stepped into the house and was greeted excitedly by Trudy. Trudy is the mom of the house, she cleans, cooks, and helps us out so much. We got her in trouble once because we claimed that Victor had killed an innocent cat. She forgave us soon after she came back to the house though.

"Nina my dear, it has been too long. You look beautiful as always," Trudy brought me into a hug and wouldn't release me. She called upstairs to the other girls to notify them that I have returned.

First to come running down the stairs was of course Amber. We were roommates when I was still living here, I don't know if arrangements would be the same or not.

"Nina! I am so happy to see you. I have missed you so much," she put a lot of pronunciation on the word 'so.' Amber was definitely my closest friend at the Anubis house, besides Fabian.

"Oh Amber, I have missed you," I grabbed her shoulders and brought her into a hug. I had missed her a ton. Amber was always someone who would be there for you. She wasn't the most trustworthy person ever, but that definitely wasn't her fault, I think sometimes she forgets that certain things are meant to be kept a secret.

Soon after Amber came down Joy and Patricia followed after her. They ran and jumped onto me. Joy and I were never really on good terms in the beginning, mostly because of Fabian. Before I left this school we became friends and so did her and Fabian once again. I'm not really sure what has happened in the past year since I wasn't here. What if Fabian and she were back together? I obviously wouldn't care if they were or not I just don't think I would like to be surprised by coming home and seeing them all over each other.

"Nina, have you seen anyone else from the house yet?" Patricia and Joy both asked me this question. It was obvious they meant Fabian.

"No you all are the first to see me, besides Trudy of course," I gave a light smile towards Trudy and them. I don't know if I am ready to see Fabian again. It has been a long time since we actually talked, I think he knew I was returning back to school.

Alfie and Jerome came out of their room and as soon as Alfie caught eyes with me he screamed my name and came running after me.

"Nina! You are back, do you know what that means. It means a Sibuna reunion," he continued to squeeze the life out of me. "Oh my gosh, does Fabian know you are back? I must go tell him," I tried to stop Alfie from running off but I couldn't catch him. I figured I would have to see Fabian at some point anyways so it was better to see him now then later maybe.

"Nina why don't you come upstairs, your bed is still empty in our old room," Amber helped me with my stuff and took me up to our room. The room was still very pink, it was full of Amber, just like it was when I left. I sat down on my bed and looked around the room swiftly.

"Not a lot has changed in the room," I said quietly. Amber came over and sat next to me on the bed. She wrapped her arm around me and I rest my head on her shoulder. Before either of us could say another word our door flung open.

"Hey Amber I heard Nina has returned to school do you by any chance know where-"He stopped his sentence. It was Fabian. Fabian stopped in his place and stared at me with a surprised face. I don't think he knew I was returning.
